Family of 5 - AKL Concierge?

We are a family of 5 and have booked 4 nights AKL Concierge in July. Our reservation says "request Bunkbed Room" and I've confirmed this with the Concierge Staff.

My concern is that we are a tall family. DH & I will have the bed and the kids the BB and Day bed. But the kids are getting tall as well. Our 9 yr old is already 5'1" tall and my 2 nephews are tall as well - 11 yr old is 5'3" and the 14 yr old is as tall as me 5'8" tall.

How tall of a person will the day bed accomodate comfortably? CRO and the Concierge staff said it should be fine but I just want to make sure.

This is my nephews very first trip to WDW and am so excited about being able to take them!!!!!!

From what I have read on these boards, the bunkbeds at Disney are very comfortable and can hold a taller person.

I can't vouch for the daybed but I'm sure someone else has some info on that.

You could always inquire about an upgrade to a 1br suite when you check in. Who knows??? It's definately worth asking about.

I'm sure you will love it in a concierge room and you will have a wonderful time!!!!!!!!!!

The bunk beds are just as long as the queen bed in the room. The bottom bunk is a little "confined" meaning someone can definately sleep there, but sitting on it is tough for ANYONE except maybe a 5 yo. The daybed is also a twin size bed, so I wouldn't worry. There is a weight limit of 225lbs on the upper bunk,but I'm sure your kids will be fine!!
