In less then two weeks, I will be hittin' the airlines with...my six cousins, two brothers and sisters, my sisters boyfriend, my mom and stepdad, my grandma and grandpa, and seven aunt and uncles... I'm soo excited but how am i supposed to deal with all the screaming and yelling and running and when everyone wants to go on the same ride...and I'm only a teenager....someone reassure me that this trip will be magical! *Pixxxxxxxie Dust pleeaaasee!*

DON"T PLAN TO DO TOO MUCH TOGETHER!!!!

Meet up every now and then...otherwise you will be overwhelmed...

You will have fun...just remember that everyone doesn't have to do the same thing- remember, you can't control others- I always tell my extended family that want to tag along on our vacations that I will be up and out the door at a certain time, and if they are up, they can join us, if not, I'm not waiting. Don't let them make or break vacation. Here's lots of pixie dust your way!!

I have to agree with the others, we did this there was 15 of us. And we all agreed that we wouldnt be able to travel in mass everywhere keep everyone together and happy.
Too many bathroom breaks at different times and too many people interested in different things, Aunt so and so wants to stop and look at all the crytal things in this shop, we want to ride this ride 5x, but we dont like that ride, on and on it goes.
So to avoid hurt feelings if we went to the same park( and that wasnt always a must) we would split up if we had different things we wanted to do and meet up later (set time with a 1/2 hr window if your not there we will meet later, some times you can get caught in a line) It avoided alot of hurt feelings with someone who is in a rush and the other who doesnt feel they are getting enough time to do what they want.

We traveled with extended family last October and we moved like a herd of turtles when we were together. We compromised by doing the same park the same day and definitely meeting for lunch. Other times we would separate and get back together kind of loosely, depending on who wanted to do what. We'd often get our fast passes together and then separate until that time. We also carried walkie-talkies though, so could locate each other fairly easily.

Pattnfamily...what kind of walkie talkies did you have? We are planning on getting them for our extended family trip this year.

We used Motorola radios they worked well ours were the 2 mile range ones, they now have them up to 10 mile range. Get the ones with the codes so you have a better chance of finding a privite channel, we were there the 2nd week in May and never had a problem finding an open channel.

Definitely, don't try to do everything together - especially the parks. As someone else said, you'll move at a turtle's pace.

My recommendation would be to meet for meals & possibly have a pool day together.

Have fun!!! :)

I agree with the others. We had a group of 12 and that was trying at times. The best thing is to get together for meals and some pool times. The other times is just brainstorming times like if you get to MK and you suggest that you want to go to Splash Mountain anyone else want to go??? You may get 8 people going with you while the others go shopping. If you are staying onsite it makes it easier. Some of our group skipped Epcot while half of us went to Epcot. We got back to the rooms that night and said that we had a blast on Test Track and then the next day the group that had skipped went to Epcot! There were times in the evening where some would want to go to the pool while others wanted to have some fun Downtown Disney. Just agree on meeting times if everyone splits up. We kept in touch by cell phones. Have fun.
