I was re-reading my daughter's 2002 copy of Disney for Kids by Kids, and I came across the section on the Family Magic Tour. It claims to be a scavenger hunt around MK that lasts about 2 hours. Have any of you done this or can you give me any information about it? Is it fun? Is it too kiddy or are the clues fun for the whole family? Basically, is it a good new activity for a family that goes each year and needs something else new every now and then?

Thank you.

We've done it and it is a great thing for families to do!

Basically, your group goes off in seach of Captain Hook's hook by following clues on a "treasure map". The kids usually take turns reading the clues then solving them to find the next stop somewhere in the park. Be advised that not just the kids participate... the entire group will end up skipping, hopping, singing, and crawling through the MK getting some rather strange looks from some of the other guests. :)

It's really a lot of fun, and the suprise end of the "tour" makes it worth every penny you spend.

Thank you. I'm not sure my parents will be good skippers, but my wife and daughter and I don't mind.

The Family Magic Tour was the best part of our trip. The guide was great and I learned some things that I didn't know about the castle before. We visited the Wishing Well and other spots that aren't on the "main trail."

Don't be weary about parental involvement. You don't have to do anything you don't want to, but it's more fun if you get involved. Remember, you're on vacation!

I hope you choose to do this tour.

Susan
