Crown paradise in Cancun. Kids are normally free. We went last Nov and going back in 2wks

"Budget friendly" is a relative term but generally you're going to pay top dollar for most places at the holidays. Best deal would be somewhere people don't want to go during the holidays- say, a beach destination where it's too cold to swim in winter.
