Mel looked for flights to get down there this weekend but they were pushing 1K. Her gma is really bad and mels father told her he didn't want mel to remember her like that. As far as any arrangements- her gma's wishes were not to have a funeral.

I haven't heard anything this morning. I'm working now... hopefully I will hear some good news later.

Melody's grandmother (the one we visit in Florida) has been in and out of the hospital for the last month. She is in the hospital again and not doing very well. The doctors think she might not make it through the weekend. If you can keep her in your prayers we would appreciate it.

My dad didn't want a funeral either and I abided by his wishes (I got grief for it, but it was his choice).

Mel's grandmother is doing the same today as yesterday. Mel did tell me that she is out of it and barely talking or even recognizing any family that stopped by today. The doctors are giving her meds to keep her comfortable.

I'd like to thank all of you for your posts and keeping Mel's grandmother in your prayers.

Good Evening, Tim! Sounds like she's not out of the woods yet, not that she might be. At this point they are just keeping her comfortable, right? I really hope Mel can be there to support and grieve with her family!
