I was going back to look for a picture on this, and noticed the above. A few updates a week...I'll be done by the end of April

I never imagined I would still be typing this out in August! On the bright side, I did upload pics today for my last full day in Disney!

Hey Granny!! I just got to the point last month or so of having to take mine off- Good Lord!!!! Is it true I have to get bi-focals!!!??? Pretty soon, we'll be wearing purple hats in our TRs~

Yes, bifocals will be coming (although I don't wear mine -- hate them). Purple hats? Red hats? You are too funny. I can just see it now...all of us "DIS friends" coming to Disney for a Red Hat Day. I think Disney should sponsor us.

I don't remember if we set an alarm or not but it wasn't long before Juliana was up searching the waters of the Caribbean (Beach Resort) for long lost treasure, plundering villages, and on the lookout for princesses in distress.

We got ready and walked over to Old Port Royale for a quick breakfast (I think we just had a bagel) and went outside to wait for our bus to the Magic Kingdom! (what other park did you think we would of been spending our last park day?)

We arrived at MK and there was a sea of people heading in although I must admit, despite the crowd, it was a beautiful morning. I stopped in City Hall to enquire about a lost and found. They told me I had to go to the Kennel and ask there. Well considering we just got into the Kingdom it would have to wait for later.

This was our 3rd time in MK in a week so we had a few specific tasks we wanted to try to accomplish. One of them was to try to find & see Tiana. I knew she was some where in Liberty Square- we just had to find out where. I asked a CM and we were pointed to the right direction. We parked our stroller across from the entrance to the Haunted Mansion and walked over to see Tiana. We got to Tiana's garden just in time. We were the second to last group allowed into the line before it was cut off. Whew! We just made it!

The line was moving pretty quickly and it was almost our turn. A CM helped Juliana put on a Tiana crown.

As fast as the crown went on, Juliana had it right back off. It was our turn and Juliana was excited to see Tiana.

Tiana took her time with Juliana and they had a cute little conversation. Unfortunately, Naveen wasn't there.

Tiana and Melody even had a little conversation.

After seeing Tiana, I split up from the girls for a few minutes. The girls were going to go check out the Christmas store while I walked over to Peter Pan to get FPs. I got the FPs and met back up with the girls in the store to find out more Disney MAGIC had just happened! Juliana was selected to decorate the Christmas tree. She got to put on all the ornaments. Then the CM gave her a ornament to take home, a package of Pixie Dust, and a certificate.... and I missed it all! Juliana was excited to show me what she did...

It was really neat to see her name on the plaque next to the tree. We looked around the store a little more and got to try on some hats.

We were walking back to get the stroller and I asked Juliana if she wanted to try the Haunter Mansion again. Back in October of 08 we took Juliana on the HM and she cried 1/2 the time. I felt so bad after we got off, and we hadn't asked her if she wanted to ride since. Anyways when I asked her she said she did want to ride it!!!! The line was long but moving quickly. It gave us a few minutes to take in the scenery.

We made it inside and Juliana was a little scared during the pre-show but I was holding her and kept whispering to her that it was just a ride and it was pretend. When we got on we were searching for some Hidden Mickey's and were just making fun of all the ghosts. She got a kick out of seeing the 2 ghosts riding in our car at the end. She did awesome on the ride and we will be going on this again in the future!

I think we stopped in Fantasy Land for a minute or 2 then headed to the 2nd task- Story time with Belle.....

All caught up!!!! I left off when your friends were saying goodbye! I think it is great that you had a few days with just the three of you. We are doing that this year too- we have the WHOLE FAMILY (14) for the first 4 days and then a few days with just us. I love that you are already talking about going back with them!! Question is would you do the house again or stay at a hotel!?

MK has to be the last park for us too! We let the boys pick but it is always MK! We will see what they pick this year!!

Cant wait to hear how you end this trip- I cant believe it is over!! So sad!! At least we already have your pre trip report to follow along with!!

Tiana was so nice! She definitely had her southern charm working. She was always smiling and seemed interested in what Juliana had to say.

We were very lucky on this trip...... so much Disney magic!

When I was 14, getting my first pair, they told me I was lucky. In my old age, I get away with not wearing any. What a farse. You just "graduate" to bi-focals.
