It seems that the fastpass line at Soarin' isn't so fast. Happened to me a few times.

It was weird because it took me, Mel, & Juliana forever to get through the FP line... while Dave & Branda made it though pretty quickly.

The Electrical water pageant is cheesy, but I enjoy watching it too

We had a nice time watching it. It was a nice surprise because we didn't have that planned.

ewww garbage lying there for 24 hours and more. Yuck!

I know... good thing it was mostly paper and wrappers. Glad it wasn't full of food.

After our Haunted Mansion adventure it was close to 11:30 and we really wanted Juliana to be able to see Story Time With Belle. It is a show where Belle tells her story and takes kids out of the crowd to act out the parts. We have seen it before and it is really cute. It takes place to the right of the castle right past the entrance to Cosmic Rays.

We were one of the first people to arrive for the show, which was starting at 12pm. I was getting hungry since I really didn't eat a breakfast so I left the girls and went to Main St. Bakery. The bakery was very busy and I didn't get back to the story till after 12. There was a CM at the entrance and he wasn't allowing anymore people into the show. I had to wait outside but he did hand deliver Mel's coffee to her.

While I was waiting for the show to be over I had a chance to eat my sandwich. It was really good!

I also bought a cinnamon roll.. I mean can anyone walk into Main St. Bakery and not get one of those HUGE cinnamon rolls?

When the show ended I was able to join up with the girls and got in line with them to meet Belle.

After we finished up eating, we walked towards Fantasyland to use our PP FPs. Near the teacups we could see a few people standing in line but there was no character. We got in line and within a couple minutes Alice came out to greet us.

We fought through the crowds to get over to PP and used our FPs from earlier.

We really didn't want to deal with the crowds and we asked Juliana if she wanted to go swimming back at CBR. Of course our little fish wanted to get her fins wet, so we decided to split up. Mel & Juliana would head back to CBR and get ready for the pool while I would hike over to BTMRR and get a couple FPs for later... we planned on coming back to MK after dinner. We were off!

I am glad that was our plan because this is what the crowd looked like on the way over to get my FP.

About a 10 minute wait to get my FPs...

It seemed like Melody & Juliana were having a little photo shoot in front of the castle on the way out..

Walking back towards the exit to MK, I thought I should get myself a treat. What better treat than a Dole Whip Float!!!!!

I wonder if the photopass photographer thought I was a weirdo asking for a solo pic with my Dole Whip?

I stopped for a few minutes to watch the band on Main St.....

Then hopped on the monorail on my way to see if I can find Juliana's crocs at the lost & found- located in the kennel next to the TTC. I've never been in there before (why would I have been in there?) and got in line to see if Ana's shoes were turned in. Few more pics...

There was a guy who lost his sunglasses and the CM brought out 2 trays of sunglasses that were found on the day he lost his. It was really amazing that there was sooooo many glasses. Unfortunately, he didn't find his.

It was my turn to ask. I described Juliana's crocs, where they were lost, and what day. The CM came back and asked if there were any jibbets on them. I described them to her and she presented Juliana's crocs to me!!!!! I really couldn't believe it. I'll attribute it to more Disney magic!!!!!! With her crocs in hand I jumped on a bus headed to CBR.

I made it back to CBR and must of stopped at 8 bus stops before it was my turn to get off at Trinadad South. The girls were ready to go swimming and I just had to get into my suit. It wasn't the warmest of days to be in the pool but we did promise Juliana she could go swimming.

We started the walk over to the pool and Juliana found this little guy...

I guess 70 degree weather in March with a 20-30 mph wind was warm enough to swim!

CBR has a pretty neat pool area with a separate pirate ship play area for the kids. This is where we started. (stolen pic)

Juliana had me going down the slides with her.

After a while in the kids section we went over to the main pool.

The main pool has a zero entry which is neat. There is also 2 tube slides which are fun too. They are no where near as long as the slide at CSR though. Just like every WDW resort, there were lifejackets for the kids.

I think Melody just laid out in the sun and didn't even get near the water. Thank goodness the water is heated or I'm not sure I would of been swimming if it wasn't. We stayed at the pool for just over an hour but we had to go back to get showered for our dinner ADR at Whispering Canyon. We gathered our stuff together and started our 15 minute walk back to our room.

The resort was peaceful...

I hate swimming in cold water. Thank goodness the pool was heated. I must admit... it was still chilly though.

CBR seems like a really nice resort and the pool area looks really nicely themed.

The pool and our room were the best parts. It was nice and I'm glad we tried it out.

You can do the pool. When we went in March '08 there were days in the upper 80's. The weather in March is so unpredictable.

Been there, done that - going back again with a Corn Dog Nugget Friend! I didn't think it was weird AT ALL to pose in front of the Castle with a beloved food item. Not.at.all.

Those crowds are nuts! Good move on leaving and enjoying the pool at the resort for a while. CBR is just beautiful - what a cool pool too! They allowed you to go down the slides with Juliana? I think Henry would do, and enjoy, the slides IF I could go down with him, but I thought I would get yelled at.... I just might have to try it this trip!

That was the first time we ever left a park to take a break in the middle of the day.. (I think) When Disney says spring break season is starting they weren't kidding.

I guess I was allowed to go down the slide with Juliana.. no one tried to stop me. There were other parents with their kids too. Keep in mind these were the small slides on the pirate ship (kids area) not the big slides.

If you are looking the same day you lose something then you go to the lost & found in the park. If it is from a different day you have to goto the kennel. Why they do that I have no idea.
