Family, Friends, & Celebrities- A MAGICAL Birthday TR!!! *UPDATE*8/27! Final thoughts

OMG! Baby Juliana! How stinking cute is she!! It's funny how her face looks exactly the same, even since the day she was born :goodvibes

Well the little princess herself makes a baby doll appearance!! So, So, SO cute!! Now she's taking balet, next thing she'll be asking for a cell phone.

Congrats, uncle Tim. She's beautiful.
Love that last baby pic of Juliana. Emily and Amy didn't have much hair either when they were babies.

While we were finishing in up in Germany we met back up with Dave, Branda, & the kids. We were going to live it up because this was the last day that our friends were going to be with us. As we were continuing to walk counter clockwise around the World Showcase, we saw the spot where Snow White usually comes out. I saw a CM and asked her when Snow White would be back. She told us she would be out in less than 5 minutes so we started a line to see her.

When she came out the girls were very excited!

It was about 4:30 when we stopped for a few pictures in China.

We brought the kids over to the Kidcot stop walked around a few shops and saw Mulan. Juliana went right up to her, unlike the last time Juliana saw her in Disney. Ana was scared of her.

We finished up in China and just went into one shop in Norway. We moved on to Mexico but first we HAD to see Donald. Alex was a pro with the characters. It was hard to believe that just a few days earlier he was so scared to go near them.

Man this day was flying by! The crowd inside the Mayan temple was insane. We did have a chance to stop and have the kids try on some sombrero's.

It looks like a big donut over Alex's head.

We rode the Three Caballeros and some guy felt the need to get silly in my pic! LOL

For some reason I always end up with this same exact shot.

We wrapped up in the WS about 5:30 for a total of 6 1/2 hours. Looking back I feel like we didn't have enough time there. The kids seemed to have fun seeing the characters and with doing the Kidcot stops.

We still had the FPs for TT in our pockets and we HAD to use them. We headed over to TT. I was trying to talk Mel into having Juliana go on the ride but Mel thought it was better if she didn't. So Dave & I headed towards the ride while the wives and kids headed towards Mouse Gears.

It took a while to get through the FP line. I'm not sure if the ride was broken down earlier and they were trying to catch up or if it was just very busy. I will probably get flamed for this but I'm not a fan of test track. Dave is a 'car guy' so I felt he should ride it. I think the cue before the ride is the best part of the ride.

Sorry.... We finally made it to the pre-show and got in our car. As we started out the ride kept stopping for a few seconds then restarting. The voice in the car was messed up too. When we made it into the cold room the car stopped. We were sitting there for a few minutes then there was an announcement saying to remain seated and the ride was having technical difficulties. I had my hidden Mickey book with me and Dave & I were able to find some hidden Mickey's in the room. We ended up sitting there for about 15-20 minutes or so before the ride got going again.

TT pic.... I was haming it up, Dave was being serious, and the kid in the front actually looks scared!

Up Next.... the rest our our final night with friends... Ana surprises me. princess:

That means my hair will be falling out very soon!!!! Well at least turning gray. LOL

Congrats, uncle Tim. She's beautiful.
Love that last baby pic of Juliana. Emily and Amy didn't have much hair either when they were babies.
Thank you Barbara.

Ana has plenty of hair now.... though it is blond! :lmao:

I saw you are planning another trip.. how exciting!!!!! :goodvibes

oooo-ooo-ooo! An update, coming right back in a bit!!

Another great update! Phoebe never lost her hair and had plenty for pigtails in her one year portrait. Tessa, in just one of thousands of ways she had to be opposite of her sister, had a fair amount of soft, straight hair when she was born, and then it fell out around 6 months and grew back curly. But it grows so slow, she barely had any in her one year. Go figure. Ana had the same exact happy, little face back then that she does now!

I feel for the poor guy in the back of your photo. You framed him perfectly for the shot.

That's crazy being stuck on the ride for over 15 minutes! What did Mel and Branda think about you being gone? Of course, they were shopping, so maybe they didn't notice. :rotfl2:

Well, speaking of sombreros- but where's your maracas, Timbo??

Actually, I'm not a big fan of TT either. I like it, but probably wouldn't stand in line for it for more than say, 15 minutes. I have the HM book too, and really want to find the HM in the corrosion room- the one that looks like paint??

6 1/2 hours is far too little time. That's about what we had last time too, and I felt VERY rushed. Not again, my friend; this time it's on my own terms.

I think we ALL get that same pic inside the Duck ride. I have it too.

That guy needs to be photochopped out. What a goofball. :sad2:

PHOTOBOMBED! :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

I do the same thing, by the way. I figure if someone wants to take a picture of me (or at least in my general direction) they should get my best effort!

That is so funny about the guy in the picture. :rotfl2:

We can't wait to ride TT, possibly because we didn't get to ride it on our honeymoon, just not enough time. But I've been reading about a lot of technical problems with that ride.

The pictures with Snow White are so cute.

The new baby is so cute, and the 4 mo picture of Juliana is ADORABLE.

Can't wait to read about the surprise from Juliana.

Somebody surprised you? This I have to hear about! ;)

Looks like your afternoon was a bit of a character fiesta! So much fun! I love Donald in his sombrero, he's too cute. :thumbsup2

Looks like kids and adults are having lots of fun. :goodvibes

Adorable pictures with the characters.:cutie:
Thank you. The kids had a blast meeting them and getting autographs.

Juliana's hair was very short at one year. It was blond and we figured it would be getting darker soon. 3 years later it is still blond!

It seems he wanted to be in my picture.... with a great big cheese smile!

LOL They were wondering what we were doing. I got a text from her when I was going 64mph.

Well, speaking of sombreros- but where's your maracas, Timbo??
I was trying to keep this a family show!

Not sure if I saw that HM. :confused3

I also like the real cars while walking out of the ride. Those are cool! :thumbsup2

Going to the WS with kids and a group is a recipe to be rushed. LOL I know you are going to enjoy yourself in the WS!

I think we ALL get that same pic inside the Duck ride. I have it too.
I remember laughing at myself after I took it thinking 'I have this same exact pic!' I need to find it.

Yes I was photobombed!:rotfl::rotfl:

At least he was smiling and not throwing up the 'bird' or something.

 Love the one of the girls tilting their hands and holding their hands like Snow White.

Haha, I bet that kid in the background of the pic was waiting for you guys to notice him when you guys got home and printed the pics.

I can leave it... I rather ride Mission:Space. But you can join the group of TT lovers!!!!!

The new baby is so cute, and the 4 mo picture of Juliana is ADORABLE.
Thanks!

Coming up... maybe tonight.

I love that Donald too! He is a trip!

We were... our day was winding down though. :sad1:

I love that Donald too! He is a trip!

My DS loves Donald, and I thought for sure he would take a picture with Donald in his fiesta gear since he loves the ride as well, but he was having none of it on the last trip.

So DH and I got one instead. :goodvibes

Do I need to break out in song?

"Now it's time to say goodbye...
to all our company......."

 Love the one of the girls tilting their hands and holding their hands like Snow White.
They were being cute.... I forget if SW asked then to do it or they were just mimicking her. :confused3

Haha, I bet that kid in the background of the pic was waiting for you guys to notice him when you guys got home and printed the pics.
I don't think he was a kid! LOL

You are right that I didn't notice he was doing that until I uploaded the pics. :lmao::lmao:

Why should you have to curtail your fun because your DS didn't want to see Donald? pirate:

Good going!

:sad1::sad1:

Almost the end... (for them)
