WOO HOO on the scans!!

:woohoo: :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2: :cool1: :dance3: :woohoo: :cheer2:

I love the updates! :) The BBB looks amazing!!

And I really hope this is the BEST DISNEY DAY EVER!

Missed the pre trip report and as usual I am late to the party, but am really enjoying your trip report!! I hope Your DW gets better quickly!! Your family is gorgeous and your friends are too! Has anyone ever told you that you resemble Charlie Sheen? A lot at times, not so much at others.
:welcome:
Thanks for joining!!!

Thank you for the nice complements!

I've never heard of the Charlie Sheen reference before. Back in high school my friends used to call me Brian Austin Greene.

Looking forward to more adventures, hopefully without sore throats or bumped heads! Happy Birthday Juliana, you both look like princess material for sure!! I hope the rest of your day was just as magical!!

lol, was MJ "pole dancing" on the cue stick?
Plenty more adventures to come! This day got better, then worse, then better!! LOL

MJ was trying to play pool.... though the pool stick was placed in a risque place! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

The girls are precious!!! I've missed out on all this fun dress up having 2 boys. :) That stinks that Mel was sick but she always looks put together you could never tell by the pics she was sick.

Can't wait for the rest!
I wanted a boy sooooo bad, and the moment I say Juliana that was it. I was so happy to have a girl! She definitely is daddy's little girl. princess:

Mel was putting on a good show that day. She wanted to stay in bed. :rolleyes1

I feel so badly for your wife at this point! Sick on vacation is no fun, I hope that antibiotic kicks in soon and helps her out.
It was brewing for a few days... she couldn't take it anymore.

I'm glad the girls had a good time at BBB. What a special thing to do for Juliana's birthday, I'm sure it'll be one of those memories she won't soon forget!
One cool part is there is a photopass photographer with then the whole time snapping away. I think we have 50+ pics just from the BBB. The girls really had a great time.

What are you saying exactly, my good man? :rolleyes1
Ummmmmm.... you know. ;)

Just to let you guys know-

Juliana's nurse just called and her scans are clear!!!! :yay:

She is scheduled to go back on May 17th to speak to another doctor about the late effects of chemo. This is a voluntary enrollment and we feel it is important to do. From what I understand they will continue tracking her until she turns 18 and possibly beyond that. She will have her blood draws on that day.

What great news!

Mary!!!!!!

We are excited about the scans too!! :) :)

I was wondering where you were. :scratchin

I figured you were busy booking trips, handling the wish thread, tracking down a Disney executive to yell at him for changing the MNSSHP dates! :lmao::lmao:

There is more to come!!!! So put away that popcorn!!! :rotfl2:

Ummmm so what you are saying I have many more years of dealing with this 'girl' drama? :confused3

I need to get working on evening the stakes... I don't want to be outnumbered anymore! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I hate to burst some dreamy bubble that you may have, but ummm... yes, it gets worse. Hormones can be a terrible thing.:scared:

Awesome! I actually happen to know this.

Why you may ask? Because one trip, my Mom did this with my Nana. Those pictures are, in a word...hilarious. And so sweet also. :goodvibes

Ummmmmm.... you know. ;)

WOO HOOOOO!!!!

BTW, loved Juliana's message!! Very, ummmm..... colorful----- in every sense of the word. :lmao:

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe because Daddy told her I was a friend of his, that's why the drinking glasses came in. ;) :lmao::lmao:

I love this picture. And poor Mel. Atlhough looking at the picture you would never know she was notn feeling well.

(and if you think they grow out out of it, just wait until she turns 17!)

17? Mine are 24 and 21 -- and they are boys -- and they still haven't GROWN OUT OF IT!

Ummmm so what you are saying I have many more years of dealing with this 'girl' drama? :confused3

I need to get working on evening the stakes... I don't want to be outnumbered anymore! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I've been outnumbered for 24 years!!! Sometimes boys can be worse than girls. But at least the boys don't have that hormonal thing when they hit teenage years; instead, they just know everything. :rotfl2:

Love the update, Tim, and can't wait for the next sequence; although knowing you...we'll have to wait...and wait...and wait! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl:

Great news on the clean scan. Tell her she needs to post on the Dis Dad’s Board some smiley things that she likes in order to celebrate. As much as I wanted a boy, girls are so much better, even when they become teenagers. Juliana is such a cutie. As she gets older, you will feel a pit bull attitude towards boys. My suggestion is not to resist that protective urge. Works for me.

We barely made it out of the subdivision and the skies opened up. It was pouring. I guess pouring would be an understatement. It was a deluge.

Oh man - what an understatement indeed!!! I was thinking we might need to build an ark that day :lmao:

I finally got to speak to a CM and the only availability on Saturday was in the late afternoon at the DTD location. There was nothing open at the MK. I guess we could of chanced it and just walked up on Saturday and hoped for some pixie dust, but TODAY was Juliana's birthday. We were doing BBB today. I hung up with the CM as I was showing my AP at the MK gate.

That is a bummer, but that place fills up fast!

Here are a few pics of what was going on with the girls while we were gone.

Mel said that Juliana keep yawning the whole time. I guess she was tired.

Oh that's too cute & funny. My Annie was doing the same thing when she got her makeover a couple of years ago...except hers wasn't in the morning it was at naptime in the afternoon. Dumb on my part when scheduling it, but we had dinner reservations upstairs at CRT, so we didn't really want to spend a good chunk of the day at the castle twice, so we lumped them together. Poor baby had a very hard time keeping her eyes open!

Victoria's reveal pic (Juliana's didn't come out :sad1:)
:sad1: What a bummer.

I couldn't believe how cute both of them looked! They truly looked like princesses to me.

They both turned out quite nicely. :thumbsup2

Such wonderful news!!! about Juliana's Scans!!! I think it is wonderful that they will continue to check her through the years. :lovestruc

Glad Melanie got an antibiotic, when I was a kid, I always ALWAYS got sick when we went on vacations or a holiday rolled around. I was always purely miserable.

Like the update! The girls look so beautiful in the princess attire. princess:

Allison (DD) likes to get her hair done at BBB in the castle. She is getting that done again this year but she does not like wearing the dresses anymore because they are scratchy. So she plans to wear a skirt this year. It is one of those magical moments for Allison and for me, I almost always get tears in my eyes and feel emotional and she enjoys the attension from everyone saying, "What a Beautiful Princess". She did make me promise not to take her for a photo shoot this year. :confused3 She says she hates it! She is definately growing up on me

Looking forward to reading about the rest of Juliana's Birthday!

I hate to burst some dreamy bubble that you may have, but ummm... yes, it gets worse. Hormones can be a terrible thing.:scared:
Oh great! I guess everyone lied to me when they told me it got easier. :confused3

Now that is getting warmer, I hear my 16 year old neighbor screaming and swearing like a truck driver every other day to her ex-BF on the phone. This is from 100 yards across the street. I thought that was just her.... guess not. :headache:

Awesome! I actually happen to know this.

Why you may ask? Because one trip, my Mom did this with my Nana. Those pictures are, in a word...hilarious. And so sweet also. :goodvibes
LOL.. now that sounds like a good time! Were you just there watching them? I cannot see my mom doing that.. .but for some reason I can see my grandma doing it. :rotfl:

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe because Daddy told her I was a friend of his, that's why the drinking glasses came in. ;) :lmao::lmao:
That might be a possibility. :rotfl::rotfl:

She really did stick it out. I love her for that (and much more too;))

I've been outnumbered for 24 years!!! Sometimes boys can be worse than girls. But at least the boys don't have that hormonal thing when they hit teenage years; instead, they just know everything. :rotfl2:
Maybe it's time to try to even the playing field... I mean what's the worse that can happen... I'm out numbered already! :lmao::lmao:

Love the update, Tim, and can't wait for the next sequence; although knowing you...we'll have to wait...and wait...and wait! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl:
Awwww Kat, I'm not fast enough for you? I feel like i get 2-3 a week. I think I do anyways. :rolleyes1

I'll get her over there and post some more smilies soon! :goodvibes

There is a downside of being too strict though. I remember in college that the kids who came from strict parents were the ones laid out pi$$ drunk in the hallways every other night. Now don't get me wrong, I had plenty of rules to follow, but I wouldn't consider my parents to be strict by any means.

I guess we will see what happens in 10 or so years. :scratching

Oh man - what an understatement indeed!!! I was thinking we might need to build an ark that day :lmao:
That day was horrible but it had it's nice moments too. :cool2:

That is a bummer, but that place fills up fast!
I probably would of been the one disappointed if I was able to change it.. Juliana didn't know she was going there anyways.

I can see why you planned it like that.... Too funny about her almost falling asleep! I think the 6:30am routine was starting to catch up with Juliana.

They both turned out quite nicely. :thumbsup2
Thanks! I thought so too!

Such wonderful news!!! about Juliana's Scans!!! I think it is wonderful that they will continue to check her through the years. :lovestruc
Thanks!!!!

She follows a protocol. Till at least 18... possibly longer. I'll find out more about that in 2 weeks.

Glad Melody got an antibiotic, when I was a kid, I always ALWAYS got sick when we went on vacations or a holiday rolled around. I was always purely miserable.
Melody is always the one to get sick in this household. I am rarely sick, although I just got over a cold.

AWWWW you poor sicky! ;) Are you get sick as easily now? Do your kids get sick easily?

Like the update! The girls look so beautiful in the princess attire. princess:
Thanks!!!! princess:

Most times when Juliana has on a princess dress she has a long sleeve shirt on under it. She cannot stand the itchiness either. That is so great that your DD still wants to do it!:cloud9: Cherish it... you never know how long it is gonna last. :sad1:

LOL.. now that sounds like a good time! Were you just there watching them? I cannot see my mom doing that.. .but for some reason I can see my grandma doing it. :rotfl:

I actually wasn't on that trip, but I was the recipient of some photos via cell phone, and I about died laughing, but in a totally good way. :thumbsup2

AWWWW you poor sicky! ;) Are you get sick as easily now? Do your kids get sick easily?

I think I have a sinus infection right now, I have a doctor appt tomorrow :sad2:, but about every 4 to 6 years I get a terrible sickness like strep, bronchitis, or the flu that lasts for 3 to 4 weeks and then I am good for a few years. Aaron my oldest rarely gets sick and Allison is the same but she has a cold right now and a cough. I hope it all goes away in the next few weeks! :scared1: I would say my husband is sick more than the rest of us but he has type 2 diabetes and chronic asthma. So I think his conditions contributes to it. He often has stomach aches which is a side effect of his diabetes medication. Thanks for asking ;)

:cool1:so glad to hear all is clear with juliana. That has to be so nerve wracking every 3mths. I also have to say she looked liked a beautiful little princess, and so did victoria too. What cute little girls! With having 2 boys it does make me a little jealous too that I will never have the opportunity to do BBB unless I can find someone elses daughter to bring along. Who am I kidding I would love to do it myself. We never had these things around when I was a kid.

Loved the update cant wait to hear more. Hopefully mel felt better sooner than later.

Great update except for poor Mel:sick: BBB pics were so great. I cannot wait to go there this year!!

Well, it sounds as if your neighbor has been neglected in her training. A young lady should NOT be swearing, that comes from other places. Sad. I was talking more about bursting in to tears for no apparent reason, being moody or pouty or just plain not feeling "well" for a certain couple days of the month. My girls have never been nasty or ugly, just off.

It DOES get easier, in that it's less physical care. It is just replaced with more care of the heart and character, which can be every bit as exhausting- emotionally. If that makes sense.
