Juliana's nurse just called and her scans are clear!!!!

She is scheduled to go back on May 17th to speak to another doctor about the late effects of chemo. This is a voluntary enrollment and we feel it is important to do. From what I understand they will continue tracking her until she turns 18 and possibly beyond that. She will have her blood draws on that day.

Great updates! Thank Goodness for MJ being unleashed from where he was being held hostage!! I think he was very glad to be back with you and Dave! You guys treat him well. Bummer about the heater. I think MJ might need a belt! Yikes, talk about fresh air. The 1st visit picture cracked me up!! What a nice relaxing day. I think everybody needed it. Sounds like a fun dinner at CM minus the meltdowns. Cute pictures there, though.
So glad to hear Juliana's test come out fine.

It was a dark and rainy morning, although this was one morning of the trip that I didn't mind waking up early. Juliana jumped in bed with us and was so excited and I don't blame her- it was her BIRTHDAY! Melody was feeling horrible though. She could barely swallow. Her throat was killing her. She had already called her doctor to try to get an antibiotic and was waiting to hear back from him.

Even though this was a picture perfect day to roll over and stay in bed, this was no morning to be wasting time. We had to have Juliana & Victoria at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in MK for 10:30. Juliana had no idea that she was going to the BBB... it was a surprise! We had Juliana open part of her birthday gift.

After Juliana opened her gifts, we went out into the kitchen to make some breakfast. Melody hadn't heard back from her doctor and made the decision that she HAD to go to a walk-in. So while Juliana and I were eating breakfast, Mel got ready and headed to the walk-in center which was at the end of the street- only about a 3 minute drive.

After Melody left, everyone else starting waking up. Victoria & Alex had gifts for Juliana too.

They gave her a Minnie bobble-head and a Cinderella jewelry box. They were so cute.

The time was ticking away.. 9:00, 9:15, 9:30. Finally, Melody was leaving the walk-in. She tested negative for step but they gave her an antibiotic anyway. Mel was convinced she had a false negative. I know that she was really feeling crappy. We had the kids ready and once Mel walked in to the house she grabbed a coffee and we were off.

We barely made it out of the subdivision and the skies opened up. It was pouring. I guess pouring would be an understatement. It was a deluge. I pulled over at the end of the street and tried to figure out a plan. Mel didn't want to get the girls all pretty just to have it pour all over them all day. I agreed. I felt if I could change our BBB appointment to Saturday, I could just swap our MK(today) & Epcot(Saturday) days. No big deal. I was on hold waiting for a CM as the time was ticking away. I started driving because if there was no opening on Saturday, we WERE going to the MK.

I finally got to speak to a CM and the only availability on Saturday was in the late afternoon at the DTD location. There was nothing open at the MK. I guess we could of chanced it and just walked up on Saturday and hoped for some pixie dust, but TODAY was Juliana's birthday. We were doing BBB today. I hung up with the CM as I was showing my AP at the MK gate.

Thankfully the rain slowed to a drizzle as we found a parking spot and make our way by monorail to the MK. We were walking by the castle at 10:25. I honestly couldn't believe that we were going to be on time.

We got to the BBB and checked in the girls.

The plan was for Dave & I to take Alex on some rides while the makeover was happening. I was a little sad about this but I trusted Mel to take a lot of pictures. Since we didn't do Dumbo on Monday I suggested that Dave & Alex head there while I 'run' to get FPs for Space Mountain. By the time I got back to Dumbo, Dave & Alex were about to ride. I guess we could thank the rain for some short wait times.

Here are a few pics of what was going on with the girls while we were gone.

Mel said that Juliana keep yawning the whole time. I guess she was tired.

Once Dave & Alex were done riding, Dave got a text from Branda saying that Victoria was almost done. We walked back to the castle. The girls were having a great time! I felt like I didn't miss too much. I saw Juliana's stylist putting the pixie dust in her hair and saw her getting her nails gone.

Once they were done, Juliana & Victoria loved how each other looked!

Then we had a mini photo shoot in the salon.

I couldn't believe how cute both of them looked! They truly looked like princesses to me.




Up next... A MAGICAL afternoon... could this be the best day in Disney ever?

Missed the pre trip report and as usual I am late to the party, but am really enjoying your trip report!! I hope Your DW gets better quickly!! Your family is gorgeous and your friends are too! Has anyone ever told you that you resemble Charlie Sheen? A lot at times, not so much at others.

Looking forward to more adventures, hopefully without sore throats or bumped heads! Happy Birthday Juliana, you both look like princess material for sure!! I hope the rest of your day was just as magical!!

The girls are precious!!! I've missed out on all this fun dress up having 2 boys. That stinks that Mel was sick but she always looks put together you could never tell by the pics she was sick.
