Family, Friends, & Celebrities- A MAGICAL Birthday TR!!! *UPDATE*8/27! Final thoughts

Awesome place, the pool area looks amazing! Nothing better than food, friends, drinks and Disney.:)

Aw...I bet it was a sad moment leaving them.

:laughing:Ana's first time having Taco Bell. Such a cute moment.

Woo! You're finally there! :woohoo: The house looks amazing. I wouldn't want to leave!

DFid you drive through Zepherhills? My frineds parents have a winter home there. Several years ago, her and I went down each summer and would spend a week there. It was HOT, but lots of fun. We drove to Disney from there too. We went through Plant City as well ,and had major traffic!

Next year we have a big extended family trip happening. I still haven't decided if we will rent DVC or stay offsite. The house looks great though. I'm staying tuned to see if you help to tip the scales one way or the other.

Taco Bell at age 4? What a poor and abused child!:lmao: I don't think Amy had any either until she was 6. We rarely have fast food.
Yay for arriving to the house! Let the fun begin. Looks like you were all well stocked up on drinks.:thumbsup2 Did MJ end up joining the party?
I think I would take singing rather then barking as my wake up call. That is just too cute though. Enjoy your days of alarm clocks from a little girl singing with a cute voice.
The house is gorgeous. I'm sure the kids must of loved going to bed in a Disney room after a fun Disney day in the park.

That's right, Barbara!! I had totally forgotten about MJ!!!

TIM!!!! We HAVE TO KNOW!!!!! popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

I'm glad you had a good time Kathy! I knew you would! Hopefully you are getting some well deserved sleep tonight! :goodvibes

We really did enjoy the house.

Hopefully no one had too many drinks this night.:rolleyes1

Melody has a hard time leaving.. I don't blame her. It is hard for her to be so far away from them. Melody's grandparents lived next to her when she was growing up.

We were at the house and had to 'break' it in!!! :woohoo:

I'm not sure if we drove through Zepherhills. We were on I4 from Tampa to Kissimmee.

Isn't there bottled water called Zepherhills? :confused3

HUMMM tough call. It would be cool to have a couple houses next to each other! Our house was 5BR with a den upstairs that had a pull out couch. So you could of slept 12 people there.

I think there is pros & cons for each choice.

We very rarely give her fast food. It is such a treat for her when she gets it though.

MJ did not make the journey with us. One of our friends had him and was holding him ransom:sad2:

I'm so used to the barking that is doesn't really phase me... but I'd have to agree with you- the singing was better! :rotfl:

They were so excited to sleep in those rooms! It added to their Disney experience!

MJ was still being held at ransom. He did not make the trip. :sad2: :rolleyes1

I can't believe that!! I thought it was all about him getting redeemed before the trip! I'm so sad that your friend would deprive him of getting to go to the happiest place on earth! I mean what kind of Godfather friends do you have?? Next thing ya know, he'll be wearing cement shoes lying on the bottom of the Hudson!! :lmao:

OR duck taped with his pants down. :sad2::sad2: :lmao::lmao:

I thought of you guys today while grocery shopping with my kitty.

LOLOL AWWWW you have a kitty? How sweet! :cat:

Did everyone in the store know you brought a cat in with you?? ;)

You made it to Orlando!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Gorgeous house! :thumbsup2 That was one thing we loved about renting a place at Windsor Hills - having our own private pool. Granted, ours wasn't very big because we only rented a townhouse, but it was still awesome.

Tim - You have two very beautiful girls in your life.

It was nice to be able to spread out in a house. Plus the 'adults'(I use this term loosely) got to hang out once the kids went to bed. And we really couldn't beat the price... $1183 in half came to $592 per family for 8 days!

Thank you for the nice comments about MY girls. I love them.

We didn't spend any time exploring.. We were on a mission to get to that house!!! :lmao:

OK, I want you to be really honest...

You've stayed on property before AND off-site. In your heart of hearts, did you miss that Disney feeling by being in a house??

QUICK UPDATE!!!! Our Photopass pics are on the way!!! They are in Tennessee right now!!!! They are scheduled to arrive by 7pm tomorrow!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Beautiful Rental House! :)

More! More! :)
The house was nice!!!

I should have another update this afternoon... as long as Ana takes a nap.

Gorgeous house!! I noticed the "bar" too. :rotfl:

Can't wait for more! popcorn::
Everyone notices the bar!! :rotfl: Wonder what is on everybody's mind? :confused3:confused3 It was nice to unwind after the parks!

More coming today!

I'm sure I'll have more on this later but as you will see, our touring style is more of a commando style. We go from morning till night. I don't think staying at the house really took away anything. We got to enjoy the parks and some resorts too. Plus the kids were so excited getting to sleep in Disney rooms.

There is a 'feeling' when staying in a Disney resort that you are in Disney. There is the theming, the busses, and just being surrounded by the magic.

For this trip renting the house was the right move. If we were to go with friends again in the future, I think I'd go this route again.:goodvibes

NtCAN't wait to hear your thoughts about the house.

I'll be posting my house thoughts throughout the report and will have a full write up at the end. :):)

That's the first I've ever heard of a "tracking stalker". :lmao: You're not excited about getting your CD are you?? :rotfl2:

Good answer on the house. Thanks for the insight. I guess each group has its dynamic and needs- Glad it was the right choice for you!! :thumbsup2
