Dave & Branda brought the bottles from home. (they drove) We bought the wine & beer while we were down there.

So you aren't going to have a car there? I know you weren't sure.

In the CBR gift shop, I saw a bottle of ecco domani pinot grigio for $15. Yes it is usually $10-$12 for that bottle in the liquor store but it wasn't all that bad.

I wish we could of checked-in earlier but it was fine.

Mary is still waffling on whether to fly or drive. She looked on SW Saturday, and her web only fares were gone, so now she's really NOT sure. BUT then she threw a large sized bomb on me!! She tells me out of the blue that she may to go US or IOA for a day!!!! So either way, she will rent a car. Hmmm.... sounds like she might be able to pick up some groceries.

I think she said she'd go on either one of our first 3 "solo" days, OR on the Saturday that we had planned on spending all day in WS. (You know how she loves WS- not!)

I think she needs to do an update on our PTR, but you're right, I think she has been super busy with Lauren and just life. Plus, when she's on the DIS, she's usually on the Wish Trippers thread.

Anywhooooo.... IF she drives OR if she rents a car, I can probably put a grocery order in.

When family starts getting older, it's awesome to spend time with them, but a bit sad because you don't know how many more times you'll have like that.

I never thought the last time I saw grandma, it'd be the last. It's always like they are there one day and not the next- gotta make each visit really count, and make sure we tell them we love them!

Aw, last year I went to the Strawberry Festival. We saw Kellie Pickler, it was a good time!

We were on the road about 12:30 driving from Bradenton to Kissimmee. About 45 minutes in we started to get hungry so we found a Taco Bell. This was Juliana's first experience eating Taco Bell and she loved it. Not only was she loving her soft taco but she tried a meximelt and a cheesy gordita crunch. I thought this was a great family moment!!!

Unfortunately, you have just condemned yourself to 12 years of a cute, squeaky little voice from the back seat yelling "Taco Bell!" every time either you or Mel ask "where should we go for dinner?"

Not that I have any first hand knowledge about that or anything.

Also, having never heard Juliana speak, I can only assume it is a cute, squeaky little voice and not a gruff, cussing lumberjack type. Please correct me if I'm off base here.

Let me tell you- Melody loves when I drive and take pictures. Anyway- everything was going smoothly until we hit some major traffic. The Strawberry Festival was going on in Plant City this weekend. We were only an hour away from the house and we had to sit in stop & go traffic for 20 minutes. We were all getting very anxious. As we got closer to the exit for the festival we saw there were 2 separate accidents. They didn't appear to be serious though.

Okay...even though I didn't get to bed until 1 a.m. and was up at 5:15 a.m., I did notice the pattern above: drinks, dinner, drinks, games & drinks.

She is open to new foods and she isn't at the same time. Sometimes she is very adventurous and other times not so much. We really cannot complain though, she pretty much eats anything except for steak.

Very true.. it is hard for Melody because she is 1200 miles away from them and they are kinda on their own.

How was your night? I hope you had a great time!!!!!

We had a great time. We went to dinner and then we went to the show. Did not like the opening gal who sang (sounded like she did nothing but screech); Trace Adkins was next and he was terrific. Martina was last and she sang for 90 minutes. She has been fighting a cold for two weeks and she said she wasn't sure what would come out when she tried for the "high notes". Well, let me tell you...she did not miss one of them. She has the voice of an angel and I'm so glad we went.
