Families with small children, any tips?

You are going to have an awesome time. We just returned from our first trip. Kids 8, 7, 4.
We spent 3 days. 4 would have been okay. I highly recommend the mornings. We were in line 20 min before opening every day including 6:40 for our 7am MM. That was hard but worth it because the first 4 hrs you can get a LOT done.
We went back to hotel between 1 and 2 each day and then returned around 5pm. we never stayed past 10pm.
the midday break helped rejuvenate everyone - get away from the crowds and stimuli.
I'm not sure why one wouldn't bring a stroller. It was never a problem and we always put our extra shirts and frozen water bottles under neath. We could also put the back pack there when not on rides. My 4 yr old was much happier meaning we were all happier. No , we don't normally use a stroller at home but we don't normally go out and about for 10+ hrs/day. Tons of stroller parking too.

Do the child swap pass. Bring lots of snacks if you don't want to spend all your money on food. you can bring in drinks /food, etc.
My 4 yr old didn't like the dark rides - Alice, pinochio, small world, ariels', etc. But she did splash and roller coasters.
Also I just started our trip report through day 1 and you can find it under Profa.

Yes you can get a food delivery. I know safeway does it and your first one is free and there are others. Just google and you will find something. Great idea. We drove from WA and brought tons of food.
