Fallon and Zach's Disney Wedding--June 2011

That's pretty cool, thanks! I haven't asked my bridal party yet except 2 (our sisters) so when I officially ask them, I'll keep this dress in mind and have them try it on!

The worse part though is there is NO David's Bridal by me OR Zach. We have to go to Orlando or West Palm Beach to get to one! So annoying LOL.

So I started working on our wedding website! I have no problem posting it here because the worse it has is my facebook. No addresses or emails or even last names! Lol.

I was working on the "Attractions" page, and managed to put summaries of the 4 theme parks, but don't know what else to include. I know I should put the water parks, but the only one I've been to was Typhoon Lagoon and that was a REALLY long time ago (River Country was still around for pete sake!) Any suggestions on what to say for those? And any suggestions on anything else to list (to keep the lower budgets in mind)?

We went to the water parks about 3 years ago, and I think the coolest thing was the themeing!! And the worldest tallest water slide. I'll ask DF what he remembers about them!

So I just found out my cousins from MI are coming down here for Easter! I want to ask her daughter to be my flower girl. I'm so excited I'll get to ask in person, just like everyone else!

However I'm still on the fence on asking my cousin. I want her there; but if I ask her, I feel like I'm leaving out my other cousins. Plus it'll give me 5 bridesmaids/MOHs. I'll figure it out though! Lol.

Not much else on the planning front. My parents are hosting an engagement party for us, where I plan to officially ask all my bridal party to stand up by me. Trying to think of some cute ways to ask them all, lol. I'll let you guys know what I decide to do .

So update:

I've contacted Rev. Jack Day. I've heard amazing reviews of him lately, so decided that's who I wanted to go with. He is sending me a sample ceremony package, so that's exciting!

After deep conversation, Zach and I decided I will move back home before the wedding. Due to medical reasons that we currently can't afford to take care of it makes sense. Plus right now, we are living in a studio apartment, and it practically feels like living in a big hotel room sometimes in the sense when we get upset with each other, we can't really go into separate rooms, so someone has to stay in the bathroom!

I think we've decided on Randy Chapman for photography, and I think I'll email him in the next couple of days. I should probably do that soon though, shouldn't I? I just know that the deposit would be kind of hard to get together at this present time.

Oh and to wrap things up, I was on the DISigns boards last night and found these AWESOME sport Mickey heads. So I asked Victoria (the designer) to make some for Zach. Here they are:

Aren't they cute?! I think I'm going to go back and ask for a Patriots and Red Sox one for me, lol. I love them!

She also has some super cool autograph book covers! I saved one of them to remind me of them, and am thinking about making them for the welcome bags for people under 13 years old! So if I'm doing welcome bags, that's definitely a possibility, and I'm so going back to Victoria if I decide I'm brave enough to attempt to make the autograph books.

I have done some DISigning myself and have designed and made up autograph books myself for previous trips. Although they are lovely and the characters love to sign them, they are a LOT of work (printing, cutting and binding) and use a lot of ink. Just wanted you to have a clear picture of what is involved!!! I considered doing them for my little guests for our VR in May 2011 but with everything else I need to do, I have decided against it.
If you want to take on other projects for guests, I have journal pages, luggage tags, document envelopes and all sorts of other things DISigned and saved in my photobucket account. I am at work at the moment so will let you have the link later if you wish to look. Let me know if I can help with anything.

So back to the water parks.... I would maybe say something about that they are crazy themes, (Blizzard mets FL sand and Shipwreck mets Disney). There are all kinds of rides, from family tube rides to what Disney calls "water coasters". The lazy rivers are interactive and not the way to stay dry!

That is about all I got. They are alot of fun, but not the way I would spend my time at Disney unless I had over a week there....

So on to wedding party! I've finally figured out who I'm going to ask for the girls side!

Matron of Honor: My cousin Ellen
Maid of Honor: My little sister (who will be 13 at the time of the wedding)
Bridesmaids: FSIL, and 2 of my friends!

Then my flower girl will be Ellen's daughter Maya Very excited

For the dresses I decided that the bridesmaids will wear clover with a lapis (dark purple) sash, and the MoHs will wear a lapis dress in the same style with a clover sash.

Here are the top 3 contenders for bridesmaid dresses:

This one costs $145

This one costs $99

This one is $79


I'm also debating whether I want Allison (my sister and MoH) to wear the same dress as the other girls, or get her a Jr. BM dress.

If I decide on the Jr. BM dress this is the one I want to get her:

And here's the sash to go with them:

For the flower girl, I can't decide whether she should match the BMs or the MoHs. Hard decision.

So now, I need to just have someone try them on and see which I like best. I am really trying to keep the dress costing under $100 simply because some of them aren't in the best financial situations, but I'm still considering the first one (which is $145).

So I just emailed Randy Chapman. I'm excited for us to have our date held! I'm nervous about how much of a deposit he'll request though . Hopefully it's not too bad and my parents can help us out with that. I'm seeing them Wednesday for my mom's birthday. (Yup! She's a St. Patty's baby! Hence her name is Patricia! lol.)

I also ordered some REALLY CUTE cards to ask my bridal party. I got them off of www.greetingcarduniverse.com. They were $2.79 each (same price, if not cheaper, than hallmark cards) and you can personalize them!

I love it too! I'm so happy Dolly made it for me! Right now she's helping me with invitation designs that go with it, that is if I don't drive her insane .

But seriously, DIS is saving me LOADS of money! I'm so excited

scratch the vistaprint labels. Dolly made me custom labels too! She basically designed a whole stationary set for me, I'm ecstatic! That is saving us tons of money!



I think it's adorable! I'm having a lot of fun with all this, it's really exciting .

Your cards are so cute! I wish we were having more than just one person up with us, but it get complicated and I don't want hurt feelings, even though I know there will be no matter what...

I am in love with your dresses! They are all beautiful. Just remember that those of us with more curves have to be careful about having strapless dresses. I know the last wedding I was in I had strapless and even though i spent like 100 on the dress I ended up with almost an equally expensive bra to support the girls!!
