Hi Mrsheppo: Came home from work to a nice surpise box from Yankee Candle. Thank you so much! I love each and every scent you picked and can't wait to burn them in my new burner. It's funny because when I was shopping for my buddy, I was looking for a tart burner for myself and couldn't find any I really liked. I LOVE the one you sent--they didn't have that one in the store. Unfortunately, it came in a million pieces but I called YC and they're sending me a new one out today. So now I have another package to look forward to

I can officially say the candles are in the mail! I took them to the post office around 2:00 today and sent them parcel post. Should be 5-7 days for delivery. Hang on people on the East Coast, it's coming to one of you!

I'm sorry that the tart burner was broken when you received it. I'm glad YC is going to replace it. I'm so happy to know you liked the gift. I really enjoyed participating in this, my first exchange.

Barbara, I had an experience with YC earlier this year, buying clearance C'mas stuff, and they were selling this candle holder that just seemed UN-shippable, to me at least. It was shattered the first time, so they sent another, it was also broken in a few pieces.......now I'm feeling guilty for calling yet AGAIN......but, they sent a third time! They were soooo understanding and cooperative! And, third time was a charm!!! They DO pack sooooo well, almost toooo well, but sometimes it's the piece itself that just doesn't hold up too well when packed with heavier jar candles. jmo

I got a fall apple harvest type votive holder, a bllueberry muffin votive (smells good enough to eat), a basil/nectarine votive, a small spicy apple jar that I am already burning, and some clean cotton lotion. Awesome! And to get another military spouse as my exchangee is even better! Oh yeah, she sent me a post card of Virginia Beach, her "latest" home.
