I've mostly been focusing on the first one but have picked up a few for some of the others. Is that weird?

I've been shopping all along if I see something that fits in for the Theme of the month I grab it. If I see a good deal I will snag that as well then when I get home I put it in my "basket" this way I can pick whatever I want and the end box will have all the "leftovers" as well as whatever I buy for that month's theme. I haven't yet focused on the first months yet, I will do that next weekend when I go shopping with Hope

I've definitely been shopping for all 3. I have 3 bags of goodies already - one for each month. I think I need a little more for December, but the first 2 months are more or less good to go already!

DH gone for the weekend and I had a chance to do a few things I been meaning to do - and now my SS has some things "in-waiting" too

Confess that I did the "oh - I think I NEED one too" on a couple of things - hey - I had a really, really busy week at work this week - so I tended to think of it as my "reward" for survival AND - yeah - reward for not "smacking" those boss/guys who said "well, I don't do it that way" and so I willing obliged to their way even though their way "stunk" ...........

I would like to give a big shout out and a THANK YOU to my SS who sent me a wonderful little package with a GORGEOUS pumpkin and some lovely little Disneyland items.

I was grumbling about having to go check the mail on a Sun night but was rewarded with a great pick me up!

i think i'm done shopping for my first box -- gotta double check and then move on to color.....

but here's my question. for the "something from my neck of the woods" theme, what is everyone thinking? should I get something from my homestate that I like, or try to feel out my SS and what she likes and see what i can find from my state? Like say for example, my SS lives in NYC (which is probably not true but go with me here for a minute) does she buy NYC souvenirs or since she knows how much i love Bobby Flay she gets me an autographed Bobby Flay cookbook?

am i making this too hard?

Good question. Really is my SS going to want OSU, UC or Xavier stuff? Bengals or Reds things? I guess I could try to find Buckeyes, but they would probably squash in shipping.
I may send a can of spaghetti & chili, cause that is so funny. The first time I went to a Skyline and they put my chili over spaghetti I almost flipped. Only sauce goes over spaghetti. Not chili, cheese, beans & onions. Ick!
It really does taste pretty good though. Now that I've grown acustom to it.

But I'm going to go over my SS answers with a fine tooth comb and customize the last one package to be all about her. And she'll know it's me, because of the can of spaghetti & chili.

In my case since I live in Amish country I could send many different items. I have not thought about that month yet, but was planning for an Amish Country item(s). Is that what I am suppose to send?
