Fall is in the air.....

I love fall too. I wish that there would be 3 fall seasons and one spring. no summer or winter. Any ways it definatly feels like fall here its 62˚ here in topeka! ahhhh. And i went to Micheals today and bought some halloween stuff.

I'd go for that. I don't like the extreme heat or the extreme cold. Fall and Spring are just about right for me.

I had to turn our heater on last night! The house was just too chilly.

Tomorrow's high temp is only going to be 56! Our fall came very, very early this year. Our average September highs are usually in the 70's.

109???? Wow, that's way worse then us here in Vegas. I think this weekend we were supposed to be around 102 or 103.

We just got back yesterday from 2 weeks in California and we loved the weather. As soon as I got up this morning I wanted to hop right back on a plane and go back. It was... are you ready for this.... -1 Celcius which is like 30 F below freezing anyways

I know! I love how around here malls and stuff "pretend" it is fall or winter. I have so many sweaters that I wear with .... flip flops!! I think I wear closed toed shoes 2 months out of the year.
But hey, what do I know? I am a Southern Californian, I remember rollerskating on Xmas day in shorts as a kid.

That's not Fall. That's freezing!!!

Last year was our first Halloween here in Las Vegas. I wore flip flops out while taking the kids trick or treating. The year before that, we were still in MI and you couldn't even see the kids costumes under all the coats, hats and gloves!!

I grew up in SoCal too and remember going to the beach on Christmas. LOL I have to say, I do prefer a white Christmas. That was cool about living in MI. But once December was over I wanted the snow to go away and it never would until after Easter!!

It has been 100 here this past week and I've been lovning it! I know that the cold will come soon and I don't like it being under 60. 50 is the my absolute lowest. My feet get numb.

I went to school in Santa Barbara for the fall semester and wore shorts every day. But if I go visit my sister in the east side of S.Ca. during winter I need pull over sweaters and/or a coat. So I guess it depends where you are even in S. CA.

However, I've come to enjoy whatever season it is. Teaching preschool lets you see everything new again!
