Love fall! Here in the Pacific Northwest, it got all fall-ish early on us this past week. Wet and gray, temps down in the 50's at night. That I don't love so much, though being a 35-year native, I practically have webbed feet, and I do like the rain. But usually we get a little streak of really nice Indian summer in September. Crisp mornings and cool nights, but warm as summer midday. Love it!
I'm back teaching Kindergarten for my church's private school again this year, where my kids attend. We started last week already. This week my class is doing all apples, all the time! Apple tasting tomorrow, sorting, counting, graphing everybody's favorites, songs and fingerplays about apples, apple art, apple books.
And I'm really trying to concentrate on getting my lesson plans done ahead of time, because we have fall break the week of Columbus Day, and guess where I'll be?
WOO HOO! Getting so excited for our DL trip! I can't wait to see all the decorations!
(BTW, I was born in the UP in Marquette-- but I don't remember it
