Fall Finales - Then What?

Haven't seen this week's yet, but we've been enjoying this one. My complaint is they've had very few consecutive weeks of episodes aired, which made it challenging to get acclimated and keep track of parts of the story.

For all that network TV moans and groans about the audience deserting them, they make some nutty scheduling choices IMO. Of course part of the fall finale epidemic may be stemming from what I just heard about Hollywood basically being shut down for business from Thanksgiving until after the New Year.

I agree, they do make it hard to stay hooked. I'd be in trouble if I didn't have this stuff set up to tape on my DVR. After missing for a week, I'd probably forget to tune back in the next week.

Absolutely. If my DVR didn't get the job done for me I'm sure I wouldn't invest in any shows involving a continuing storyline anymore. If they still expect "appointment TV" viewership they need to keep their part of the appointment a bit better IMO.

Yep, Designated Survivor isn't back until March 8! But I guess this way they can show us a lot more episodes in a row without missing a week. Now I wish I'd kept them in the DVR so I could watch them again. Maybe I'll watch them in On Demand.

I thought I'd bring this thread back to remind anyone who liked Designated Survivor that it returns tonight. I still think it was the First Lady who got shot, but we'll find out for sure tonight.

If I can remember my very rusty memories from waaay back when we last saw the show, I think that's more the direction my thoughts were leaning, or at least his wife getting hit.

All my shows are currently back (Feud: Bette v Joan, Riverdale, Real O'Neals, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Survivor, Girls). All I'm waiting for is Ru Paul's Drag Race to return.

That's quite a list, surprised I don't have any in common. Not a dig or a judgment, BTW, simply genuine surprise we don't share any of those in common.

That's true....I think we usually see eye to eye on many topics! Oh well, that's why my boyfriend and I have two giant TVs.....and we rarely watch anything together except Ru. He's a Boston sports fanatic!

Was afraid to simply make the statement without any explanation in case it left an impression I was being snarcastic. Watch and enjoy. Maybe we'll run into one another discussing another one we have in common at some point.

DH and I watch this one together and he's in grad school studying for next week's mid terms. I guess I will be in for a surprise when I watch.
