Fall FD PIN Becoming a Public Offer-For Fun While We Wait!

Do you think the current FD PIN for Fall will become a public offer? Here's to bathing in glue and rolling in pixie dust for good luck lol!

I definitely think this will go public. It has every year in the past with some differences in black out dates. And contrary to what disneys says, the economey is not better. I live in a state that rates second in the country with the highest unemployment. And with those months (Oct,Nov,and Dec) it is harder to fill the rooms at there largest resort's like POR and POP. Except during holidays.

I like the frog one too, but not voting for it, because I need for it to go public. LOL I don't really think Disney cares much if we have a coronary either. The one that I feel confident will not happen is that it will be released to Disney visa only. It will be either just pin or it will go public in my opinion, with a few days jump start for Visa. Anyway, I didn't vote, because I really just don't know.

I really do think that a more limited version of the FD PIN will be offered to the general public. After those with a PIN flip the switch and decide to book, they will have an idea of which dates to "black out" for a general public offering. Since I prefer to choose dates based on least busy times, already have a PIN and don't even plan on going until 2014, the point is moot for me. Good Luck To All who await this announcement. It did happen before during dates I had for a previous trip but I used my room discount PIN instead after doing the math.

Yes! i do think the FD will become public!

So go with me here for a minute....we currently have the FD PIN with dates that work for us. Only problem is the resort we want is "booked." I'm
thinking of booking @ Coronado Springs then switching over to POR or POFQ if a GP FD offer comes out, opening more rooms. Is this a good idea? We've never stayed at a moderate, only value.
Options: 6 nights at C Springs (hoping to switch to POFQ) or 7 nights @ Pop. (Same price)
What would you do?

I think it will become public at some point, but with the dates changed. With the dates on the pin, you could easily go Thanksgiving week or Christmas week with free dining. I highly doubt Disney is gonna let that go public.

Doubt they would get rid of the week prior to Thanksgiving. It is one of their least crowded times, but only time will tell.
