TA that actually gave a discount instead of OBC

Some TAs buy blocks of cruises at a discount and pass it on to the customer. For example when vloggers get you to do “group” cruises with them, you are effectively paying for their cruise. They get a group cruise “rate” or one free cabin per 10 or 20 booked or something like that. Depends on the deal offered by the cruise line.

DCL has generally not done that. I won't say never but it is very unlikely.

Interesting. I remember the days of booking hotels at Disney that way. Long gone. Those were the days. I bet though the discounted cruises would be no less than other TAs OBCs for the same price point. Or could I be wrong?

I'd agree with this. The couple of times I've looked into doing a group cruise with a podcast the rate has been the same as if I booked the cruise just going on my own.
