I had Nancy too. She was really nice, and I enjoyed talking with her.
Luckily I'm flying, otherwise I would have a 24+ hour drive from Massachusetts.... yuck.
And my friend has Rhonda at 10:30 tomorrow morning, I'll tell her to keep it short for you savannahjean!

its a small world!
amazed at how connected the Dis gets us, to be able to know someone who knows the person interviewing before me.
I hope they do well with their interview!
Yea I've got a 20 hour drive from NY....hopefully will be doing it with someone though I can't imagine doing it alone!
I didn't really "connect" with my interviewer. I don't remember any small talk or anything. I thought the whole thing was awkward and it probably lasted 10 minutes tops.
And I still got in sooo don't put yourself out yet!!!!!
How long did it take for you to recieve your confirmation/denial letter?
she told me 3-4 weeks.
Ok well I just did my interview a few hours ago.
I had Rhonda and she was very nice.
Here is a detail breakdown (sorry so long)
To start with she double checked my info like name, address, e-mail etc.
Got my E-presentation code.
Because the computers were down she has go down the list of questions that are on the application like can I work in the US, do I have a drivers license, have I ever been convicted of a crime etc.
She then asked if I was able to work any time (weekends, holidays), then if I was ok with the pay range which is $7.21 from $8.28 an hour.
She talked about the Disney look and asked was I fine with that? Then she asked did I have any tattoos, which I do so I told her yes and were they were on my body. I have 2 on my torso and 2 on my feet they are all covered when I am dressed. She didnt say anything about them once she knew you couldnt see them.
Then she wanted to know if I would be willing to do Fall advantage but since I want to do summer classes I told her no.
She asked why I wanted to do the CP. From my answer it came up I had been to the resort a good bit.
She asked me what my favorite park was (my answer was Without a doubt the magic kingdom which she laughed a little)
She asked am I enrolled in at least one class?
What is my major?
She talked about the living situation, asking if I ever had roommates. Was I open to living with people from all different cultures and backgrounds? Had I ever lived away from home? Did I feel comfortable being away from home and friend/family?
We then went over the roles I was interested in which were:
1 Photo Pass Photographer
2 Character Attendant
3 Attractions
4 Full service Food and Bev
5 Merchandise
6 Biddi Bobbidi Boutique Hostess
7 House Keeping
She then asked if I was willing to so QSFB which I answered no, Main Entrance Operations and Custodial I said yes to.
She asked me the two positions I was most interested in, which was photopass and character attendant.
For Photopass:
Did I own a camera and what kinds?
What experience with cameras did I have?
Would I be good to carry up to 10 pounds of equipment for up to 8-10 hours?
How would I sale more photo related items to guest? (Up selling)
For Character Attendant:
Why did I want to do this role?
Then she asked if I got Full Service Food and Bev would I be ok learning a new computer system.
Then lastly since most of my job experience is retail, tell her about a time were I had to multitask?
She told me I should hear from them in about two to three weeks, by the end of February.
I had Rhonda too, she's so nice and I know you're going to be amazing! Are you applying for Hospitality? I remember seeing you on the boards about being on the Dream Team.

I love the sense of community here too, it's very open and friendly!
I didn't try for Hospitality
Since I will have to work at the Auburn University Hotel here at school for my major I thought it would be cool to try for fields I could only do at disney like photopass and character attendant.
But I am def still interested (dreaming of) being a member of the wedding dream team.
I want Transportation, with hope of the Monorail!
OMG...me too. I see you're in the Syracuse area I work there. I'm driving too but maybe we could do some stops together or something!
My interview is Monday at 8pm with Sally. The role I want is Merchandise, but I also picked Costuming and Quick Service Restaurant. Wish me luck![]()
