I’m sure they’ll offer that at some pointWish they offered the same for WDW Annual Pass holders…
…for a discount on CFW points

I hadn’t looked at it very closely yet but insane starts at 100 pts and was gonna pull new offers to do all the math since starting at 100 pts seemed pretty good. Although I don’t have a magic key currentlyVery interesting— especially (if I’m reading it right) that you’d get $15/pt off at the 100 point mark. Might put a little more pressure on the smaller VGC contracts.
$208 avg for 100 is unheard of. Adding the next 25 (to 125) would cost $223pp.
Maybe they are realizing not everyone can afford or wants more points especially in CA.$208 avg for 100 is unheard of. Adding the next 25 (to 125) would cost $223pp.
150pts also works out to $208 avg, and 200 only takes it down to $204.50!
VDH is interesting because it’s SO MANY studios they may actually want to nudge people towards smaller contracts so they don’t have a bunch of angry owners in knife fights over the villas.Maybe they are realizing not everyone can afford or wants more points especially in CA.
Maybe they are realizing once you get some points you always want more![]()
Thought of another.. maybe they are trying to soften the blow of the new increases of Magic Key prices. Look how much you can save (spend)$208 avg for 100 is unheard of. Adding the next 25 (to 125) would cost $223pp.

They went back on sale again today. Usually they sell out within a week or so.I hadn’t looked at it very closely yet but insane starts at 100 pts and was gonna pull new offers to do all the math since starting at 100 pts seemed pretty good. Although I don’t have a magic key currently![]()
How did I not see this anywhere else? Thanks! They went back on sale again today. Usually they sell out within a week or so.
Maybe it's that the back side of this hotel has the worst views of any DVC anywhere (yep, here's your view of a parking lot that bleeds out into endless urban sprawl hemmed in by a gray layer of distant smog).Maybe they are realizing not everyone can afford or wants more points especially in CA.

Agreed. I stayed and said I would never buy here. Now I own 200 points.Maybe it's that the back side of this hotel has the worst views of any DVC anywhere (yep, here's your view of a parking lot that bleeds out into endless urban sprawl hemmed in by a gray layer of distant smog).
Sorry, my fault. Today they announced that Magic Key passes will go on sale "soon." Apparently I was reading too fast this morning. How did I not see this anywhere else? Thanks!
I still see renewal only.
Makes sense. Gives me time to figure out if I should buy this time.Sorry, my fault. Today they announced that Magic Key passes will go on sale "soon." Apparently I was reading too fast this morning.

My guess is that Disney feels that it would be in bad taste to advertise one of the Disney resorts while the other is being hit by a hurricane. My guess: give this about 10 days.

Just FYI - you have one year for date of purchase to activate. Prices on the AP just went up today.Hmmmm
Do I buy now and then wait to use starting for the August trip OR risk it that they’d still be there in November and then apply the already purchased 5 day ticket to the price….
Tough one if you have already bought 5 day tickets.Hmmmm

Yeah, but we have a 5 night stay reserved for next August and if we have Keys then we will look for times we can go…Tough one if you have already bought 5 day tickets.
It’s wild the VDH incentives don’t always start at 100 points, tbqh.VDH is interesting because it’s SO MANY studios they may actually want to nudge people towards smaller contracts so they don’t have a bunch of angry owners in knife fights over the villas.
I haven’t stayed but from the photos I’ve seen I think I prefer the mostly treed neighborhood view to the concrete and steel of the rest of Disneyland hotel that makes up the preferred view.Maybe it's that the back side of this hotel has the worst views of any DVC anywhere (yep, here's your view of a parking lot that bleeds out into endless urban sprawl hemmed in by a gray layer of distant smog).
We got a low floor standard view that mostly shrubs (and maintenance people walking by below)— but most of the preferred views are views I would be annoyed to have paid extra for…I do think the dead on view is the waterside on higher floors is charming.I haven’t stayed but from the photos I’ve seen I think I prefer the mostly treed neighborhood view to the concrete and steel of the rest of Disneyland hotel that makes up the preferred view.
