Dang, depending on if WH is offered I might be getting that 200 points at RIV. The jump from 150 points to 200 points is an 8 dollar difference in developer credit

If they do Welcome Home, we get to call our guide tomorrow and see if she can match it. We bought the points the 12th, but didn't finish signing until the 24th. If its off of signing date, we're still within the 10 day window.

If it’s $167, I think of lot of guides will be getting calls tomorrow…. and not about Poly….

300 points would actually be down at $156pp with MB.

This actually makes me think there will not be a Welcome Home incentive….

I find it very curious that the Welcome Home links are still live with the old incentives and haven't been pulled like they did for BLT, AKL, SSR. We'll see.

I was thinking that the developer credit numbers were way too high to also add a welcome home. Or maybe the welcome home will be 1-2k max at that point the incentives would be about the same as previous.

Wow, I guess I can take my victory lap for predicting that they were going to be above $200 before MB, but I’m actually still shocked to see that they will be $225 all the way up until 150 points, at which point they become $215. Even I thought they’d try to get them down closer to $200/pt by the time you reached 200 points. Even more surprising is that the incentives are still basically garbage all the way up to and beyond 1000 points. DVC needs some buyers to be getting huge contracts to book the 2 bedrooms and TPV rooms.

I have no idea what they were thinking here but I feel like any consumer behavior/marketing psychologist would have advised them to price higher and offer incentives so people feel they are getting a deal. Or even price at $239 and offer a special limited time $14 credit to all existing members (and later first wave buyers) that jumps to $20 at the 150 point level and $25 at the 200 point level.

(I was always out and already blew my new tower money on VGC resale this year…but if it had been priced like VGF summer fire sale, I probably would have found a way to talk myself back in…)

VGF2 was also $10pp discount at 150pts when it was released, the key difference is that was $207 base and incentives were better at higher points

Saying all that, these will still sell fast and I actually thought it would be under $10 incentives due to pent up demand

So Riv incentives got ever so slightly worse but still about $2500 cheaper than 150 at Poly with welcome home. That right?

200 VDH is $27 off base price of $239, so $212 per point before Welcome Home.
