Fall 2026 itineraries

A lot of my cruises have been in Europe. I wish I lived closer too. I live on the western part of the USA. Florida is also a long hike. I have had the pleasure of cruising of San Diego three times. I wish Disney would do some Summer cruises out of there when it's a little warmer.

I am hoping for a ship in San Diego next Fall. I'm cruising out of Rome in June.
I share your desire for Disney to do more west coast cruises beyond shoulder season. It’s really hard to do any of them without my kids missing at least 2 days of school. I suspect if you’re in SD or OC, it’s a little easier to get away with one.

One of the questions asked for those of us who recently took advantage of the Wish discounts was Did you cancel another cruise to book this? What cruise line? And then they asked when it was scheduled for.
I tacked the Wish cruise onto a WDW trip. I canceled 3 nights at Universal and downgraded my WDW from Savannah view AKL to standard room at Pop. I did add a Cabana Bay stay back for the night before the cruise so I can do Universal on my arrival day and then drive to PC the next not having to deal with I4 traffic by WDW.

I am doing the wonder next year for Alaska. Totally hate dealing with airfares and pre cruise hotels bit. I would like to see longer cruises with multiple Disney islands stops done more often. Love my 2 CC, LP, Nassau 6 nights on Fantasy last October.

Arizona, but my kids are in college now, but even doing a weekend 3 day with my husband or my kid that still likes to cruise would be so easy.
We've done three 4 day spring break cruise in an inside room just for a nice get away. Honestly prices have not been bad at all, but the weather is not consistent. California has great year round weather, but it's not always warm on the pacific like Florida is. I lived in California for half my life and July - October is by far the best beach weather.

We sailed (RCCL because there was no Disney option) out of Long Beach earlier this month and it was too chilly to swim (at least for southern Californians) 2 of the 3 days, and even trying to enjoy our balcony at night was rough bundled up in sweats under blankets. But Disney ships have so much to do inside it’s less of a problem.

I was on that October cruise too.. loved having 2 days at castaway and 1 at lookout and it was pretty reasonable on opening day. Hoping for a similar cruise to be released again.

Came here to see if anyone heard anything. No announcements yet from what I can tell.
We should know by this week right? Like for sure we should know right?

No one in 20+ pages of this thread has “heard” anything. The people that are making this decision and announcement are not leaking it on a random fan message board. We will all find out together when the announcement is made. Maybe this week, or maybe not?

I know some people just really want to schedule their next trip in two years but I think DCL realizes that for many of their guests, they don't want to book any cruise- they want a Disney one. And those who were okay going with another line because DCL doesn't have their schedule out 2 years in advance, probably would have gone with another line anyway once prices came out from DCL. They want to grab those who just want to cruise DCL sooner, rather than later.

DCL is a niche cruise line IMO. And while I, like many on here, like to plan vacations well in advance I think booking a year+ out is enough for most DCL cruisers.
I agree with you, but I also think DCL can't make up its mind if they value first time cruisers or repeat cruisers...

Most other lines for example would not have created such a stark departure from their original ships in form and function when they created the Wish... and then repeated the design beyond the initial 3-ship commitment. I understand the need to modernize the fleet, and that the "timeless" design of the Magic/Wonder/Fantasy/Dream was starting to be a little dated, but everything about the new fleet to me seems designed for one-and-done cruisers who will go with their kids/grandkids on a trip of a lifetime...

That could also be Chapek vs. Iger.... Idk how Iger feels, but Chapek definitely felt like the fans were not as valuable as the one and done... Why Josh D'Amaro has doubled down on the Triton class ships though I don't understand...

The Wish was our first Disney Cruise ------ now we are 11 deep. I am not sure we would have been hooked if we had sailed on a classic ship first. We have sailed on all the ships and the Wish class ships are our favorites (Treasure is #1 - Dream/Fantasy are our least favorite).

So, I guess there could be a few things impacting the timing of the announcement - all speculation
  • Waiting for the AUS discount to run out, to give as much of a chance as possible to the 2025 itineraries
  • AUS&NZ being dropped in 2026 and struggling to negotiate new port agreements to relocate the Wonder - and DCL unwilling to release partial late 2026 itineraries
  • San Diego and/or Galveston playing a bigger role in the schedule, with some big announcement of a new terminal/enhanced homeport
  • Triton-class #4
  • Something else?

I guess we will know soon enough...

Ok. All of you people wanting specific itineraries are slowing DCL down. They only have so many people they can devote time to getting new ports and itineraries to. Now. Let’s all step back. Take a deep breath

and scream “ RELEASE THE ITINERARIES DCL NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE “.

Back to taking a step back. Take a deep breath AND REPEAT the above

Instructions unclear, started screaming for Halloween on the High Seas 4-Night Bermuda sailing out of NYC on the Dream
