Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

I may try that. This is the Disney Chase Debit Card, and I think it should have already been mailed. We should receive it any day I believe. Just hoping to get it before the hold expires or hoping Disney will extend a hold a reservation until it arrives.
My husband and I ordered a new disney debit and a new disney credit around the same time. The debit took 4 days longer to get. Hopefully that will not be your case!

Happy Friday and I hope everyone is ready for their Memorial Day weekend!!!! I'm getting anxious, as my ADR date is coming up and December hours are not up. If I'm missing them somehow, could someone please point me in the correct direction? Thanks so much!!

Lots of well wishes for a fun and safe weekend, if you're traveling!!

This is not was I wanted to hear, but thanks for the info. Here's to hoping they will extend the hold on the reservation.

For planning FastPasses, I was wondering how long we should plan for our TS lunches. I have a Liberty Tree Tavern reservation for noon when we're at Magic Kingdom, and I have an Akershus reservation for 11:55am when we're at Epcot. I've heard some restaurants get behind, and you don't always end up getting seated right away. Should we plan 45 minutes at these restaurants? An hour? Thanks for any input!

I would allow 1 hour for TS meals. If I had a TS for noon, I wouldn't book a FP till after 1. Also, consider the FP you are booking. If you are at Akershus, think about how long it might take you to get back to Future World. You wouldn't want to have a nice meal then try to sprint to your FP. At MK, think about the shows and parades when planning FP there so you don't get caught in traffic.

Thanks! The only stuff we're planning on doing in Epcot is the Frozen stuff and the princess lunch, so thankfully we won't have to walk any distance to get there. I'm thinking we'll do the Anna & Elsa meet & greet, then our lunch, and then Frozen Ever After, which I'll try to get a FastPass for! We might go meet Mickey & Minnie on our way out to the buses to hop over to HS. We have the Disney Visa, so we'll use the Visa meet & greet. I'm thinking we'll be in Epcot from about 11am to 2pm, but I guess it'll depend on how long all that Frozen stuff takes!

We've been seated about 20 minutes late at LTT during lunch a few times. I always plan about an hour and a half from the time my reservation begins.

Happy Thursday everyone!! I hope everyone's plans for Memorial Day are coming along well!! I'd really like it if December hours would get posted!!!! It would help finalize my plans and help me decide where we will starting our days and where we want to eat!!

For now I'm refusing to believe we might have to cancel our trip. Like Dorey always says, "Keep on swimming"!

Have a wonderful day!!!! Doesn't Memorial Day make everyone going in September, make it seem so much closer????

Fingers crossed, prayers sent and positive thoughts coming your way. I really hope you don't have to cancel.

Thank you CheweysMom, I appreciate that SO much!!!

Happy Memorial Day everyone!! I hope you are all safe and well and able to enjoy your day!!!!

I'm getting so excited! It's almost time to book ADR's!!!! I think I have the plan for what I want, now to actually book it all lol.

So, do you think I should go ahead and book a reservation at an Epcot restaurant, until the Candlelight Processional packages are released, or just wait? Also, since the packages include appetizers, do you order what you want off the menu, or is it a prix fixed menu?

I hope everyone's plans are coming along well!!

I think I'm looking forward to the Christmas decorations in the parks and resorts, as well as the Candlelight Processional more than the parks themselves!!! I know, blasphemy, lol.

Without a doubt my favourite part of the World at Christmas is the very extravagant, over the top decor! Simply breathtaking... The Parks are beautiful, especially Cinderella's Castle & the Deluxe Resort lobbies are awe inspiring :)

All the resort lobby's are done up to some degree, as are the fronts of the resort where the ME pulls up. But the lobby's at the Deluxe Resorts are worth a visit for sure!

We have a day where we are going to visit the monorail resorts to see the decorations. We are also going to AKR to see the decorations there. On one evening we are eating at Captains Grill so we will be able to see Yacht Club, Beach Club and Boardwalk.

Do they decorate Disney Springs also?? If I'm blessed enough to go this December it will more than likely be my last trip, so I don't want to miss anything!!! :)
