Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

I just realized my 2.5 yo is tall enough to ride the barnstormer this trip.

Yay? (I hate that ride haha)
My younger 2 made me go on that and it's a small world over and over and over again last year, LOL! Last year I roped my 8 year old into going on Splash mountain with me and he got so wet that he said he won't do that again! My DD is too scared to go on it so I am hoping DS4 will be tall enough to go on it, he has no fear!:)

My 4 year old loves that song! This will be her first Disney trip, and I know she's going to adore that ride. I didn't even consider the possibility of her wanting to ride it again and again, lol!

When we got off IASW my oldest (6) said "never again, EVER!"

Haha!

There usually isn't a very long line (most of the time it was walk on) so every time we had to wait in a line my DD would say "Let's go on small world again it has no line!" I couldn't get that song out of my head for at least a month after our trip, LOL!

Yeah, I'm still not over making my ADRs-FP aren't even on my radar right now. LOL

Quick question-if I have a BOG ressie at 9am and the park opens at 9-when should I get to the gate/when will they let me in? Thanks! I've never done an ADR like that, ours are usually lunch and supper. ;) I would love a quick pic of the family with a not too crowded Main Street/castle in the background.

I would think they would let you in prior to park opening as you're supposed to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your reservation time??? I wonder how a 9 am reservation would be for an EMH morning?

I love figment!! Now I have that song stuck in my head.:)

Darn it ... This makes our rope drop MK day not worth it since the EMM are on Sunday's in August. I fear it will be already crowded in fantasyland when we enter the park .
I can't find it now but I thought Josh said that this shouldn't affect rope droppers that much - it's only a couple hundred people, and since they get to ride everything in Fantasyland over and over they're probably going to head to other areas of the park when it opens up.

My youngest insists on riding Splash Mtn., but she always looks terrified in the photo's. Last year, I made her ride on the right side and she got soaked. The next time we got on she asked for her poncho, but she forgot to sit on the thing and got soaked again.

We had to purchase the Disney Official Album and listen to Imagination on the ride home!!!

Absolutely, we'll be fine! By the time we get there, all the folks who have been doing EMM will be ready to head off to Frontierland or Tomorrowland. We will hardly notice them, based on Josh's and others' experiences. I've heard they might increase capacity somewhat (up to 450 is what I've heard) but even that will be a mere drop in the bucket compared to the thousands who visit MK each day.

I love having the photo's, we can show them how scared they were when they grow up, LOL! I bet she will remember to sit on the poncho this year!:rotfl: My oldest aways got stuck in the seat on Kali River Rapids that got soaked every single time. I think he thinks that ride is out to get him, LOL!!

I ALWAYS get soaked on Kali!!! My oldest refuses to sit with me because she doesn't want to get wet. I like Kali because it takes me back to the days of riding Grizzly River at Opryland.

We're planning on going to MK on a Thursday with Friday as our pool day at the resort. Just in case, I booked our MK dining on both days, so I can switch if this happens to us! With EMM and EMH, it's hard to tell what days to go for an early breakfast!

Just did that one for the first time last year. Will probably be doing it again. I don't think there is a ride that I can say I hate. Ok, will probably not be doing France again. Was that movie from the 70's.

I hate, hate, HATE IASmW but whenever I am at Disney with my mother she insists we ride it and there is inevitably a 60+ min wait and then the ride gets stuck while we're on it and I end up spending 70-80 min listening to that awful song! I'm shuddering just thinking about it :sad2:

Oh no, now I am going to have nightmares about being stuck on the ride,LOL! I don't think I could take 70-80 minutes of that song!! If I didn't love the Peter Pan ride so much I would just stay away from that side of the park!:)
