Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

I think we will try to book Minnie's Holiday without Fantasmic for now and then try to rebook and cancel the old reservation when Fantasmic comes out. If I can't get Minnie's Holiday H&V with Fantasmic I will keep what I have and try to FP Fantasmic.:)
I was wondering this. Do they usually have Minnie's Holiday with F!? And, if so, when was it released in the past?

Last year it was with F! also I believe. We had a reservation for the first day it opened but I ended up cancelling it. We had added a RO reservation to the end of our FD stay and I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for it! This year it is listed as being able to get A Minnie's Holiday Dine with Fantasmic package but they haven't opened up in November for booking yet.

There's so much up in the air. ROL, Frozen. It's hard to actually plan everything!! Then add FD into the mix and it makes changing reservations later, too fit activities, even more stressful.

I remember our trips to Disneyland. We had everything planned, and taking trips by ourselves starting at 14, we just did what we wanted. Lol most our trips were funded by my babysitting, including a stay at the Disneyland hotel one time!

We ate CS and ran from ride to ride. We never got in trouble. We were too busy having fun! Come to think of it, we signed into hotels on our own. They never asked for ID. Everything's different now!

I gave the husband a run down of ADRs I was aiming for and he says nothing at Hollywood studios appeals to him (he loved Mama Melrose's but I wanted to try something different) and he wants to have dinner in Epcot on that day, then head back to HS for fireworks. He also doesn't think we need to watch Fantasmic again since we did that last trip.

Buzzkill!

making ADRs tomorrow, family doesn't care what I make. kids wanted CM but I told them I would like to try Tusker House so will be making a breakfast one. Minnie's Holiday Dine dinner and BOG breakfast and lunch. Have the QSDP so the 2 TS will be OOP. not easy to make ADRs for November when we don't know what will be going on at AK at night then.

we did F! last trip and think we will skip this time. fireworks at HS are those year round? have not spent time catching up on all the new stuff since 2013, but figure I have 4 months until FP+ day.

I'm so confused. I keep checking every morning to see what is going to be hard to book in regards to ADRS. MY Disney experience has CRT in a call category. Why is that? I'm nervous every it's going to illuminate my chances of getting a reservation. We've never done it and is on my girls "Disney bucket list".

Rumor is it will be nightly, but nobody knows for sure. Probably not even Disney at this point

I hope so, if I dont get to see fireworks to Star Wars music I may cry!

I have a question..... Does the fantasmic dining at mama melrose take 2 table service meals???

thanks, making a dinner ADR for HS and planned to go watch Wishes from the Poly Beach or Contemporary, maybe we will just stay at HS for the fireworks if they have them in November

I believe CRT is in the call category because you have to prepay for it, rather than just put a c.c. guarantee, and there is no system for that in MDE. You can start booking your other ADRs online at 6 am, and then be on the phone right at 7 am to get CRT.

Not sure if it's changed, but I definitely booked my CRT lunch using MDE for my last trip, even with the prepaying.

You can definity book and pay online. It may be saying that because there is no availability for the times. I had no problems booking online last week for my trip

Last year we were able to book it no problem online. I think it still said call in but was available to book online. I was confused by this but booking online did work for me. I would try to book first online in case it is available.

It sounds like you had so much fun! I remember going to Disney with my family as a kid and the only place we couldn't go to because we needed an ADR was HDDR. Now you have to plan ADR's, FP, parade schedules, fireworks, crowd calendars, EMH, etc. We should all get Disney planning degree's for this!:thumbsup2

I have a question about fp. We are there for 12 days. Will I only be able to do the first 10 days and then go back in 2 days for the other ones?
I have tickets linked for mnsshp, can I fp anything after 4 with that ticket? Don't plan on riding once the party starts but thought I could do it before.
Last time I was there you still got paper ones.

Wonder if the frozen ride and the frozen meet will both be tier 1 choices. Here's hoping it's open by September!

Add in securing FD and it could be a master's degree!

If you have a resort stay and 10 days of tickets, you can book 10 days worth of fp's even on your 12th day if you wanted. If you have an AP, you can book for all 12 days.

I'm not exactly sure how FP works with MNSSHP though.

So you haven't been since 2013 either?
