Don't know if this will help, but I have a touringplans.com subscription, and they have a "reservation finder" tool that will send you a text when a reservation for a place opens up at the time you want. You have the option of searching over a period of several days, and specific times (they will text you if one becomes available within the hour of your choice). I had most of my ADRs set, but when I decided to book FD, I went ahead and added a few TS restaurants we probably weren't going to do otherwise, and a couple of restaurants had no times I wanted (Ohana, Whispering Canyon). I've since managed to get everything I wanted, and may even have a few double booked until I nail down my park days lol. It's worked great!

great tip, i am going to check this out. i am a ways off from ADR but when i booked for my (ill-fated) trip last year, i got everything i wanted (sanaa, raglan road, cali grill, etc) except could not get h&v or sci-fi diner at all, any day of our trip. which is weird, since both of them (but specifically h&v) get less than rave reviews!

i guess h&v, which we had a GREAT meal at, has those disney junior guys which are a draw to families with little ones.... i still really hope we get it this time!

Did it get confusing at all? Very cool though as you could try a lot of different colors. When we last went there were no names on the back. That's improvement!!



How dark is the purple band? Is it as dark as it looks on the website? What a shame that they came out with the purple band AFTER you bought it!

It is a dark purple. I'm getting red for this trip to go with the Minnie head watch I got that goes on the band. so I can change up what band I wear.

We always go to Sci Fi just for the atmosphere and share a sundae, shake or some onion rings. We love it! If you do that, you could easily do both! The only problem is, Sci Fi always runs behind (sometimes 30 minutes), so it takes away some park time but if you are going during a warm month, it sure is nice to get into the air for a little bit.

I change my band pretty much daily - (I've accumulated quite a few over the last several trips, which were split stays)
I use vinyl decals from MyFantasyBands.com - they are an inexpensive way to change things up at $2.50 each half for the many, many mix & match styles. Full band designs are $5 per. High quality, very creative and durable.

My oldest said she definitely wants purple this year. I told her so many people had been waiting for purple to be released that there would be a sea of purple bands this year. Not that it's a bad thing. I'm not really a fan of purple, but my youngest and I are big fans of Tangled so even I considered the purple one.

These are really cute!! I'm thinking of buying some as a surprise for everyone!!! The ones that are for the top of the band, do they stick well? Do they leave any residue when removed? Since we will be there in December, I have no idea the amount of rain to expect.

They are very easy to apply or reuse.
If I'm having any problem smoothing them perfectly flat - I heat them up a bit with the blow dryer - same for re-using them. Have never had a residue, they are a good quality vinyl & do not contain a noticible adhesive.
They are 100% waterproof - we swim in ours

Actually, the youngest wants to keep all her pins and just buy more when we get there, but then she wants to keep the ones she gets. I wasn't really into the pin trading thing until our TA sent us our travel package right before our trip and she included a Minnie Mouse lanyard for my daughter. I hurried up and order a lot from eBay before our trip. I only took the ones I wasn't crazy about to trade but of course I ended up just buying more and now I see so many in the shop Disney Parks app that I want. I'm not very good at the trading thing either.

I've been browsing etsy for magic band vinyl decals, there are so many fun ways to decorate them now!

We had allot of compliments & requests from both CMs & other guests about where to order them.

A front desk CM at the Poly admired my LILO & Stitch - so I peeled it off & stuck it on her band as we checked in.. lol. I had ordered 2 sets, but my DD wanted to stick with her Anna/Elsa set, I used the 2nd set.




Erin who owns MY Fantasy Bands is a joy to deal with. Her graphic design background really lends it's self to her product!

I was really wanting purple, but the other two adults in our group both wanted green (?), so finally one of them agreed to purple so the other one could have green lol. So, I have pink. I am so not a pink person. I'm thinking of switching to orange.

The bands have names on them so get the color you want.
