Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

I was really wanting purple, but the other two adults in our group both wanted green (?), so finally one of them agreed to purple so the other one could have green lol. So, I have pink. I am so not a pink person. I'm thinking of switching to orange.

The names are printed on the inside of the band.

Of course, I bought a purple one from the Disney store to have for our next trip and not long after that, purple was added to the resort bands.

I only have Sci Fi as a backup, in case I don't get MM Fantasmic. I think both meals would be too much for one day, though I'd really like to try both!

DH said the steak at MM last year was the best one he ate all week. The food was really good! I was nervous because it gets mediocre reviews here but we loved it. We were seated about 20 min late but they were PACKED. it was crazy in there but service was excellent too.

I am not a pink person either but I may end up with it though. I thought my DD would want pink but she wants blue like Elsa's dress. I know my DH and 2 DS's won't want pink, so I guess I'll just pick from the leftovers this weekend.

We always go to Sci Fi just for the atmosphere and share a sundae, shake or some onion rings. We love it! If you do that, you could easily do both! The only problem is, Sci Fi always runs behind (sometimes 30 minutes), so it takes away some park time but if you are going during a warm month, it sure is nice to get into the air for a little bit.

steak was surprisingly good, did not expect that at an Italian restaurant

Now that I have FD and I need to make ADR. What places do I have to call direct to book a party of 20? I read some require you call direct. As it stand now we have 4 different reservations at same place and time.

Oh, we all have the same colors! Actually, on our last trip, because we had 3 different resorts, we each had 3 different mb's and thus many of us ended up with the same colors. With the names on the back of them, it isn't hard to keep them separate.

Did it get confusing at all? Very cool though as you could try a lot of different colors. When we last went there were no names on the back. That's improvement!!

How dark is the purple band? Is it as dark as it looks on the website? What a shame that they came out with the purple band AFTER you bought it!

Now that I have FD and I need to make ADR. What places do I have to call direct to book a party of 20? I read some require you call direct. As it stand now we have 4 different reservations at same place and time.

If you call the general Disney phone number they can help you schedule restaurant reservations for your party. Some places you will have to have separate reservations for your group, due to the configuration/seating capacities in a restaurant. but they can help you!! They used to have special CM's, who's specialty was large groups. Now I'm not sure if they do that, or if all the cast members are trained.

When my parents went with us a couple of years ago my Dad recommended we all get orange bands. Then again everything in his closet is either orange, black or gray.

I haven't had the one at ABCC, Howe Dr I have had it at Liberty Inn and was very impressed! Was it Le Cellier or Sanaa, no, but it was good!

Get that purple one! I'm doing purple this time and DH and my boys all want blue! I wanted us to be more colorful but you have to be happy at the happiest place on earth so purple and 3 blues it is!

yes the magic bands have everyone's name written on the inside and you can even change the name if you want so instead of it saying your name you could add a nickname or "princess" or something! Haha! Also, I write my cell phone number with a sharpie on the inside of my boys magic bands in case they ever get lost (the bands or the kids! )

Last year DD got a purple one and decorated, so she was psyched to get another purple one this trip....and I was happy not to have to buy another purple...lol. She did say the one we bought fit differently...not sure why. We are collecting all the colors each and she wants me to get pink. I'm holiday off......forever. Haha
