Good call Nancy. I could have swore NYC was mentioned but simply NE cruises were. I now put my money on MR. Those cruises appeared to sell better than TX and other lines have returned to the area. I think the reason DCL had to pull out of the MR cruises was not because of the violence but because of the publicity about the violence. Most all lines stopped sailing this route around the same time because it became a hard sell.....people were scared of the area. Just my opinion. Good luck to those rooting for TX. Just can't see it happening.

Being a newbie, I'm wondering if NYC is being dismissed, is there any way the Boston area could be a contender for a NE stop or a finish to WBTA 2015

As I have said before, when we are given info, we don't post about it unless we can back it up, thus protecting the source and proving their info to be correct. This one came out of left field, and we can't back it up.

This happened with Southern Sailings for 2013. We knew San Juan was going to be a new home port and scoured to find public info, but never did and never said anything publicly. We do not want to risk information stoppage, so not saying anything is just the right thing to do

Do we know exactly which day next week Fall 2015 will be announced? Also, I know the DCL phones are open at 8am... is this the same for the online booking, 8am? Or can I set my alarm for 12am on opening day?

I thought it, historically, was announced on a Tuesday. This year they seem to be doing things slightly different. Shake things up a bit might be their theme for 2015

Thy should release the itinerary info tomorrow and Plat/Gold can book Tuesday and probably Wednesday for Silver.

They can do a roundtrip LA or SD to Hawaii. But not a one-way LA or SD to Hawaii.

It's been speculated that the Hawaii trip(s) are most likely going to be one-way Vancouver/Hawaii; Hawaii/Vancouver.

DCL already hits LA, San Francisco and San Diego on the Cali coast cruises... I hope that doesn't cut them out for the something new surprise!
