Fall 2015. Information out now.

I wonder why this new port has not been mentioned by the kind people who spend hours investigating and give their predictions as they did with the ports recently advised

Don't read too much into that, there maybe other reasons for it.

Exactly.

As I have said before, when we are given info, we don't post about it unless we can back it up, thus protecting the source and proving their info to be correct. This one came out of left field, and we can't back it up.

This happened with Southern Sailings for 2013. We knew San Juan was going to be a new home port and scoured to find public info, but never did and never said anything publicly. We do not want to risk information stoppage, so not saying anything is just the right thing to do :)

Good news tho - the wait is not much longer ;)

Thank you Silverfox and Disney_Fantasy for all you do! We appreciate all the research you do to provide us with 'solid' rumors. :)

You are correct...the good news is that the wait is almost over. We will all be anticipating the big announcement tomorrow.

Thank you again!!
(Fingers crossed for Texas!!) :worship:

One more day to go...the suspense is nerve wracking. I really do hope they give Baltimore a try and do an itinerary to Bermuda.

If this occurs, I would definitely book for myself and other family members. The thought of not paying for airfare makes me giddy.

Are ya listening DCL, DMV wants you. We have Carnival (for now) and RC ,why not DCL ?

I want it to be Texas, but I'm guessing San Juan.
ETA- never mind, they're in the middle of doing San Juan so I don't see how that's surprising. I just don't know what to think at this point.

I want Texas too but I'm guessing California or New England. The only justification I could find for them returning to Texas is that maybe Houston offered them a lot of money and it will be a year and half at that point since they had pulled out of Galveston. I never got to sail on DCL out of Texas (I had no idea they even sailed out of Galveston till January!) but since so many people said they didn't do well AND they pulled out of their contract early, I can't see them coming back. And I was hopeful for NOLA but since that wasn't mentioned before Silverfox's comment, my hopes are dashed for not having to pay for airfare!!!

Just a guess, but with the advent of AULANI I think Honolulu will be a home port someday! ;) Aloha, Karen

Will there be a new thread with the new destinations/cruises on Monday?

I am going to have to read DIS on my phone and hopefully can book a cruise while onboard ;) It's hard to navigate these 20-page threads and figure out what's going on :surfweb:

You can create one but I'm sure several people will.
