Fake eyelashes

Do you wear them? Is there an unwritten age cut off like ripped jeans?

My youngest decided to give me a makeover (we won't talk about the Frida Kahlo eyebrow disaster going on on my face...). She also put a pair of her fake eyelashes on me. They're kind of fun, but I wouldn't wear them every day. I probably won't wear them ever, actually. My eyes can't stop watering LOL

I don't......nothing goes around my eyes. They are too sensitive.

I wore them for my sons wedding. The women all got hair and make up done together, had a great time getting ready. Most of us had never worn fake eyelashes before and decided to go for it. Then my daughter in laws grandma wanted some “sparkle“ on her face. A few of us got some shimmer on our face. I am not sure I’d where the eyelashes again, but for the one day I loved them. It was well worth spending the money for hair and make up. I felt like a million bucks that day and as Mother of the Groom, it felt wonderful

Do you wear them?

Nope. I had to wear them in my younger days, doing little theatre, and I always felt like I had bits of carpet resting on my upper lids. Very irritating.

I have fairly long lashes, so a little mascara is all I need. I don’t even wear that most of the time.

I have never needed them- my eyelashes are really long. If I even wear mascara they hit the lenses of my glasses.

Don’t think they make a magnifying mirror strong enough for me.

I’m like you, I’d wear them if someone else applied them for me. I tried once and it did not end well.

I like the magnetic ones as well. Though I have been using a lash growing serum on mine the last few months (it came in one of my makeup subscriptions) and my eyelashes are crazy long right now especially when I put mascara on so I haven’t worn any fake ones in awhile.

What is the brand that you used and how long did it take to see results? My lashes are really short and can use any help they can get (short of wearing fake lashes). Thanks!

I bought inexpensive ones at first that didn't wear well, when I upgraded I noticed a huge difference. I tend to prefer the 10 magnet to the 5 magnet.
