Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust! Jenn & Kevin 10/12/14 Italy/ADH/France - The End (7/2016 New TR Link!)

That button is awesome, it will definitely fall into the 'this turned out so well that my guests think Disney provided it' category. Also, looking at those handkerchiefs I'm guessing tears will be a distinct possibility just from reading the lovely words you put on there. I know my Mum would cry just receiving something like that and it'd just get worse from there!

I can certainly follow your desire for a wedding cheeseburger since that's what we're serving for dinner! I think it sounds like a great low-key way for you guys to end a huge huge day (and the many many ginourmagantuan months leading up to it). I know I don't need to tell you that two weeks is no time at all, are you finding yourself checked out of day to day life at this point? I know for us it is getting so close it feels like every day that isn't specifically wedding related doesn't seem worth getting out of bed for!

I'm so super excited for you. :) Those buttons are AWESOME and the handkerchiefs are beautiful. And I have to say...jealous of the wine box too. :)

We will be expecting live updates from the wedding as they occur. PICTURES!!!!! :)

Tiffiny

Those buttons are super cute, and they look really professional too!

I feel you on wanting a nice cheeseburger for your wedding dinner. A nice wedding pizza dinner sounds more and more attractive to me and my fiance. I'm sure it'll be a very sweet and fun dinner for the two of you. I can't wait to hear about how the wedding goes!

You two are getting so close! I love everything you ended up getting for gifts for people, but I think I mentioned that when you originally mentioned what you were looking to get for your bridal party. And I think you probably will get a bunch of tears for the handkerchiefs (they turned out great!). Love the frames you got for the fathers - I may have to pick some up for the parents for Christmas next year, since we're doing pictures as gifts that year. :goodvibes

Hope you're looking forward to heading down and not too overwhelmed!

By virtue of the international dateline (and my place on it), let me be among the first to say YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED THIS MONTH. YES!

I've been meaning to comment on your PJ (I've read it I swear! I just DIS at work and sometimes that can be distracting :worried:) and I adore the menu you and Jess have picked out! I had a feeling you would appreciate the burger :thumbsup2 I really, really want it to be from Beaches and Cream but I don't think we'll be able to swing that. Fingers crossed!

IT'S NOT OCTOBER YET!! :scared1: Although your post did make me go look at what time it is right now in Melbourne.....go to bed Ben!

Haha thank you!! The wine box is from arrowsarah on etsy and she did a beautiful job.

I make no promises of live updates (too busy enjoying the honeymoon!!) but I promise to come back at some point to sprinkle a photo or two in before I eventually start the wedding TR!

Those buttons are super cute, and they look really professional too!

Mmmmm pizza!! Like Via Napoli.....oh that would be great! I just have visions of us spending the in between time in sweatpants eating junk food, don't ask me why :rotfl:

The frames came out great - I wanted something that FFIL could have on his desk at work should he chose (he works at a bank), so nothing too mushy gushy. DF definitely gets his 'conceal don't feel' side from his dad, so to speak.

So much to do and so little time to do it in!

I love your wine box... I had such a difficult time finding a wine box for our wine box ceremony that I ended up buying a large box at home that took an entire suitcase to send to Florida... I still like the look of our box but kind of wish there were more options when we did our ceremony 4 years ago.

Sorry for answering so late! Everything looks fantastic so far!

And yeah for IKEA frames! I have a whole wall of them where I display all the special occasions and special ones of our lives.

Fingers crossed everything runs smoothly on this last few days!

Well here we are guys, less than a week out! It's so crazy that all this planning and waiting and running around like a chicken with my head cut off is about to be all over.

Unfortunately, I've barely made a dent in my to-do list. Last Tuesday I went to bed with a tickle in my throat (I thought it was just allergies, as I've developed some annoying seasonal allergies for the first time this fall) but I woke up on Wednesday with a full blown 101 fever and raging sore throat. The fever only lasted a few days, but then came this awful blistering rash on the bottoms of my feet and the palms of my hands - today is the first day I've been out of bed (minus the 3 trips to the doctor I took every time I got new symptoms) since Wednesday - I couldn't use my hands and it was too painful to walk. Needless to say it was agony. My Debbie Downer side says OF COURSE this had to happen during my last free weekend pre-wedding, but on the upside this didn't happen to me THIS week, and I'll be nice and healthy for the wedding. So far Kevin hasn't gotten sick and once I got my fever he moved into our guest bedroom, so I think we're in the clear where he's concerned. He was able to get a few wedding errands done for me, but not 100% everything (thanks to my being a control freak!), so I probably won't be able to update as much as I like in the next day or so (Wednesday is my beautification day so it's really day one of the vacation!)

We did get a few things before I completely succumbed to my illness - our buttons arrived!! I had to pay extra to rush the design but it was so, so worth it.

Sorry this is the only picture I have! I'm sure they'll make an appearance later.

Our programs are also printed (made by my MOH) - we'll be picking them up tomorrow when we leave my car at her apartment (we're flying into a different airport to come home that's closer to MOH's place). The two holes at the top are where a blue ribbon will be tied through.

Looking at these now I'm just realizing I forgot to include the song for our recessional - crap. Bahhhhhh oh well can't be done.

Sorry for the screenshot, but we also printed our table "numbers" - attraction posters for every table!!! I can't wait to see them in Atlantic Dance Hall :D

The next two days are going to be super busy with getting the rest of our errands done (and finishing the dang shower thank yous - I WILL send them out before we leave!) I'm sorry in advance if I slack on everyone else's PJs! I promise I'll do at least one final send off before we go ;)

Wow I can't believe you only have six days left! How exciting all your hard work and planning is about to pay off, your buttons are so amazing ( I might want to steal that idea if you don't mind!) Sorry to here about you getting sick but at least on the positive side it was before the wedding :goodvibes Happy wedding week and have a great beautification day sounds fab!

Melissa

I absolutely love everything, this is pretty much the coolest wedding ever. I SO hope one of the kids will do a Disney wedding (my money's on Eric). It's the perfect balance of Disney, but not too much and just supremely laid back, fun, cool and very very personal at the same time.

Love it.

GET BETTER

TAKE DRUGS

So excited for you :goodvibes

I agree and am so excited for you! :) I LOVE your buttons.

Cannot wait to hear all about it! :)

Everything looks awesome...and I really like your programs! Raist has mentioned wanting some (I'm not sure they're needed), so I think if he wants them, I may show him yours and see what he says. Between you and Em, I think I'm good on reception and ceremony paper goods. :thumbsup2

Also, the buttons really turned out great. :) So excited for you - I can't believe that you get married next weekend! Where in the world did the time go?

Oh my god I can't believe today is actually here. We won't be on our plane till tomorrow, but this is literally the last free minute of the day I have!! I have the next 7 1/2 hours to get my mani/pedi, wax the brows, go to CVS/The Paper Store, stop our mail, run another errand or two and oh yeah, repack our checked bag (we're 5 pounds over - grrrr) before I pick Kevin up from work and we're off to the airport tonight! (Well, off to our night-before hotel.) Here's what we've got going on:

Thursday October 9th: Fly to MCO with Kevin's parents and a few friends of ours. Upon arrival, Kevin heads to BCV to check in (and unpack - bless him) while FILs and I head into the depths of Orlando to visit Patricia LeJeune's salon for my haircut and make a Publix stop. Once we finally all make it to the world, almost certainly going to Epcot (walking distance!!!)

Friday October 10th: Breakfast at Crystal Palace, possibly meeting a few friends in MK that morning. Aiming to be in Epcot by 12:00pm for semi-formal Drinking Around the World, but time may change (we have people going to MNSSHP that night so we want to be early enough to accommodate them)

Saturday October 11th: We have FP+ for Studios, but we might let them slide if we're too crazy. I'm hoping to squeeze in a lunch at Beaches and Cream.
1:00pm-4:00pm: Carolyn Allen's onsite to steam EVERYTHING (I'm thinking 3 hours max given the amount we have). Probably use this time to assemble welcome bags. Now that I think of it, no idea where Kevin will be during this time....
4:15pm-5:30pm: Meet bridal party at Yacht Club lobby, rehearsal in Yacht Club ballroom
5:30pm-7:30pm: Welcome Party at Ariel's
7:30pm-onward: The crazy in me says let's go to Jellyrolls, but more realistically we'll probably hang out with family and friends for a few hours before we attempt to go to sleep. If the past 2 nights are any indication, I'll be running on so much adrenaline it's just wishful thinking that I'll sleep. Maybe I should pack Benadryl....

Sunday October 12th - WEDDING DAY!!!:
2:30am: Patricia LeJeune and her team arrive for me
5:30am: Men arrive at Kevin's room (lucky jerks)
7:00am: Men leave for Epcot
7:20am: Women leave for Epcot. Photos happen.
9:00am-3:00pm: GET MARRIED, kiss a lot, eat drink and be merry. The whole nine yards
3:00pm-7:15pm: Stagger back to the room with all our stuff. Take a nap. Split a cheeseburger and fries somehow. Probably rewatch our ceremony livestream.
7:15pm-9:30pm: Walk to International Gateway and go to Dessert Party! Have more awesome fun. Love everything. Come home and go to bed.

Monday October 13th: Sleep the freak in. MNSSHP at 4:00pm, maybe pool in the morning? Be Our Guest dinner!!

Tuesday October 14th: MOH's birthday! Animal Kingdom rope drop (she's never been and ADORES animals), hopping to Studios when done (late lunch reservation at Sci-Fi Dine In), closing out Studios or Epcot and/or MK depending on MOH's desires.

Wednesday October 15th: Breakfast at Trail's End with remaining wedding guests (aka both parents and MOH + MOH's BF). MK because we're right there. Dinner at Ohana!

Thursday October 16th: Finagle how to get laundry to parent's villa at Saratoga Springs, unless I decide to pay to wash it at Beach Club. Go to Universal and IOA! Primary objective is all things Harry Potter, but will also hop on other rides pending time/crowds. Studios FP in late afternoon but planning on letting those slide - dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse! (Our date night :D ). Go to the room and pack.

Friday October 17th: Check out of villa and into comp night room at the regular Beach Club. Epcot FP+ today, probably taking advantage of walking one last time into the park.

Saturday October 18th: Breakfast with both parental sets at Captain's Grille. My parents leave for MCO, Kevin's parents drive us to PORT CANAVERAL.

Saturday October 18th-Saturday October 25th: Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy. Looking forward to being unplugged from everything!!

Saturday October 25th: Hoping to convince Kevin to run off the ship so that we can pop back into Epcot for a few more hours of Food & Wine - got to make those APs worth it! At the very least, will probably drive over to DTD and soak up the Disney bubble one last time - maybe lunch at WPE? - before our flight around 4:00pmish.

Sunday: October 26th: Jenn goes to work at 7:00am. Yes that's happening. Sigh....

I'm still having serious pinch-me moments that this day has finally arrived. From the bottom of my heart I couldn't imagine doing this without all the help and tips I've learned from you all, and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you that poked your nose into our journey. I can't say how much I'll be on in the next 2 1/2 weeks, but feel free to follow me on Instagram and Twitter if you want! (@double_njenn on both). Also, I can't decide if I should tack this massive TR on the end of this PJ, or start a new thread - help me decide people!

<3 <3 <3

LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!

It's here, it's here, it's here, it's here! Woo-hoo!

Have an absolute freaking blast! I can't wait to see pictures. I hope we run into you guys at some point during our trip. I'll definitely watch your stream while BS is doing my trial, though. :)

And for what it's worth, I vote to keep all of your TR in the same thread. L)

So glad my MOH made me go to Instagram last week - following you there!

And wow, can't believe we're already there! I'm so excited for you and really look forward to your TR! Also glad you took your illness so well!

I wish you all the best and have the greatest time of your life!!!

Hi Jenn. Lurker here. :wave2: :goodvibes I can't tell you how much fun it has been to follow along with your plans. I'm a mom to 2 boys - late teens/early 20s and know that since I don't have any daughters, I won't likely ever be very involved with wedding planning - so, THANK YOU for letting us oohh and ahhhh along with yours!

The last wedding I planned was my own - and I LOVED the process. However, that was almost 25 years ago, so a few things have changed. ;) I love all of your creative touches and especially Love, Love, Love your bouquet. That is most certainly something I would have chosen!

Remember to stop in the middle of it all and just look around and make the memory. Best Wishes to you and your very-soon-to-be-husband!

so excited for you - loved following along with all your plans! Enjoy every moment! (I've just followed you on Twitter & IG too :cutie:

Emma princess: x

Yesssss! This has come up so fast I didn't even realise what the date was. All the very best for your trip, wedding and everything else! The final details are looking so good, the program is great and even if it's missing the recessional then that just leaves a surprise for the guests. I add one more vote for putting the Trip Report in here and am looking forward to whatever exciting tales of magic and wonder you have when you drop in here next.

Have a blast, Jenn! Sounds like you two will have a ton of fun. :cool1: I vote for keeping it here, but whatever works best for you.
