**Faith and Max's 12.22.12 Swan/Garden Grove/ADH Wedding!!** UPDATED 16!!

Your video is so cute! What a sweet idea. I think I'll be mailing around 50 Christmas cards too!

Your colors look like they match the Swan/Dolphin perfectly! I love coral too. My favorite color is orange, but many times that's too bright for something (like, say, buying a dress or painting my bedroom), so I'll opt for coral.

December trip sounds exciting! I can't wait to see pictures of The S/D with Christmas decorations! :goodvibes

Happy Friday!

So, I'm officially done with this semester and I'm so happy! Now I just am relaxing and studying for my teaching certification test!

I don't have a huge update today but I do have a silly holiday video I made for you all!

Just an FYI-- I didn't realize my camera started recording so be prepared for being acting silly! :cool2:

A little backstory: in December my friends and I that don't get to see each other regularly (because of the distance) make videos for each other to say hi, update each other on life, and say "Merry Christmas!"-- it's basically just our way of sending a more fun Christmas cards. :rotfl:

I thought it would be fun to make one for all of you! It's basically just a video of me rambling, saying "and" a lot, and laughing. :rolleyes1 BUT, it's allll for you! :grouphug:

Just click this if you want to watch: http://vimeo.com/33406988

Our Colors
I know I've talked about it before with my Swalphins but I don't think I ever made it "Planning Journal Official" so...

We decided to just vibe with the colors of the Swan and Dolphin and use coral and turquoise for our wedding colors! I managed to find color swatches that match up pretty well with the S/D!

My favorite color is coral and Max's favorite color is blue (not turquoise but it still counts..!) so it all works out nicely!

We'll do coral and white floral, turquoise attire for the bridal party, turquoise programs, etc.

Another thing to check off the list! ;)

Our Quickie December Trip!
My mom and I are going up on December 29th and 30th for a quick trip to see the Christmas decorations at the S/D and have a few meetings.

Here's our tentative plans!

Thursday, the 29th:
-Get to Disney by 10am.
-Check in
-Head over to the S/D to take pictures of the Christmas decorations that will be up for the wedding!
-1: meeting with Diana from Just Marry! She said we would do a walk-thru and then talk about the details of the day. I'm so excited to meet her!
-3: meeting with the Garden Grove! We made our reservation with them this week! :cool1: We're going to talk to them about the parking fee, beverage package, seating, etc.
-Drive to the DTD hotels, see them, and figure out which ones we want to recommend to people!

After that... :confused3 We aren't going to the parks but we'd love any other ideas! We have no plans for the following day except to finish up anything we didn't get done. So, please, send suggestions our way!!

I hope everyone has an awesome Friday! :grouphug:

I love the color combo!! :)

hey so i love the video finally got to watch it and I am going to make one too :) I have a feeling we will be loading our journals with tons of pictures of the christmas decorations at disney! hooray!

ok got to go get christmas cards and stuff :)

Teresa

Here are some suggestions for you:

If you have time go play a round of mini golf at fantasia gardens or the other mini golf course.

Go look at the boardwalk, beach and yacht club to see all the christmas decorations I hear they are pretty awesome. (I will get to see here shortly my christmas vacation disney trip is fast approaching)

Go to the monorail resorts and check out the christmas decor

ride the characters in flight hot air balloon (I have never done this and want to)

Pretty much what I was going to suggest!

Off to watch your video now!

Love your Video!!!!! Great Tudor/British shout out. Both you and Teresa sound exactly like I thought you would.

May I just say, CUTEST VIDEO EVER! "Pip pip cheerio" to the Tudors/British comment lol...I hope that does not come across as offensive to anyone, but I don't really know what else the folks on the other side of the pond say differently. I don't think they even say that. I just wish my accent was that cool...I just say ya'll with my country accent. :rotfl: Anyway, sidetracked... Love the video, love the new color idea to match with the Swan and Dolphin. That will flow very nicely. Also, I am super jelous that you will be in Disney so soon but also very happy for you. Let us know how it goes and what you find out. And thanks for our video Christmas card! :)

Can't say i've ever said Pip pip cheerio but i'll try and work it into a conversation this week!

ur color scheme will go PERFECT with the decor at the S/D! i like it :cutie: what a fun video u put 2gether , SWEET :thumbsup2 Even though Karen is leaving i think ur wedding will b just as FABULOUS without her :lovestruc

My sweet Faith - Thank you for posting the video greeting. It was so lovely to see your gorgeous face on the screen!!

Loving the (official) colour combination!!! I may be a little biased as these were our colours too, but I really think that they work really well at the S/D!! This is going to be one pretty wedding!!!

Courtney sweetie - Like Claire said, I have never in my life said 'Pip pip cheerio'. I am not offended at all, but find it incredible that people from other countries think we go about saying that all the time!!!!

I love the colors...I think that it will beautiful to work with the colors of the buildings :goodvibes

I can't wait to hear abour your visit, I hope that everything works out perfectly!!

I feel bad sometimes I comment on here or facebook or text, but never in all the places all together :rotfl:

I know lol....nobody says that! Where did that even come from? But if you do say it this week I will think you are possibly the coolest person in the world.

:lmao: I know, I am sorry, it was the only thing I could think of. My sister-in-law is British and I have never heard her say that either, or anything even remotely like that. Her and her family laugh at us all of the time because some of my family has a very thick southern accent (i.e. "country). My cousins, when talking about the drink Sprite say "spryyyyte"...it's sooo funny. Do you guys and gals have a smiliar saying that Americans use? Or that everyone thinks we say but don't? It is interesting to see what the different cultures think about one another.

I love your video! What a cute way to send your friends a holiday greeting!

It sounds like you are going to have a full trip in December, lots of fun stuff to do! I wish I could go back and see the resort Christmas decorations, they weren't up yet when I went last month. :sad1: Take lots of pictures!

Oh yeah....

:dance3: HOORAY for a school break!!! :dance3:
BF is done with school this week and we are heading to Ohio for Christmas with my family.

If I don't get back on here before the holidays, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!

:rotfl2::cool1::worship::cheer2::banana:

I LOVE IT!!!

Happy December 22nd, everyone! December 22nd is my favorite day of the year!! "Why?" you ask..? Wellll...Today is our 6 year anniversary aaaaand officially one year till the wedding! I am so excited! I know this year is going to fly by!

Tonight we are going to dinner and out to see a movie to celebrate!

I can't believe we're at a year out finally. I guess that still seems like a long time but since we've been engaged since October of 2009 one year doesn't seem that bad! :rotfl:

I don't have too much to post about today since we haven't made any real developments but I am so looking forward to my mom and I's mini-trip next week to meet with our planner Diana! I'm sure I'll have much more to say then...

I was inspired by Teresa's Secret Santa gift though!! She got the cutest Vinylmation soaps and I was thinking that they would make awesome favors! I've been struggling to come up with an easy favor idea and I think these are super fun!
il_570xN.252317180.jpg

The only issue is that most I've found are only 2-3 inches tall. Does that seem TOO small?

In other news, we are still waiting on our engagement pictures CD. She said it would take 3 weeks so I think we're at about the 3 week mark. BUT, with Christmas I am hoping to get them next week! Then it's off to create the Save the Dates!

Non-Wedding Related news: this year for Christmas dinner there will be 11 of us! :scared1: I do not have a big family so this is a huge deal for us! It will be me, Max, my mom, my Pookie (daddy), my grandma, my godfather, his wife, their nephew, his wife, Max's grandma, and Max's cousin! Whew! My mom and I have no clue how we're going to set the house up to have 11 people at one table. Our menu is pretty much set-- doing the traditional ham feast. :) We are spicing up the dessert this year, though, as we are getting a Carvel Ice Cream Cake! Max and I are also making Christmas cake pops-- we LOVE making them!

I will definitely update after our mini-trip! I hope everyone has a MAGICAL Christmas!! :santa:

Happy anniversary! Those soaps are SO cute. I don't think they are too small. A favor doesn't have to be huge.

The Vinylmation soaps are so cute...at 1st I thougth they were gummy bears (or mice) and I got hungry. :)

Congrats on being one year away, it will be here before you know it.

Have an amazing Christmas and lots of fun with your family. 11 people is a good size and just enough to not get driven crazy. Oh and your Pookie! That is so sweet. Daddy's girl I presume? Me too!! :lovestruc

Happy Anniversary, Faith! Chris and I celebrated 6 years this year too!!! :D I hope you have a great celebration

And I don't think those favors are too small! But, maybe give each person more than one?? I know I'd like more than one! :D
