I watched the whole 4 seasons of the Tudors last month, most of it when I was off sick.

May I just say that I LOVE the tudors too! And Jonathan Rhys Meyers--- well too bad I am a taken woman hahahaha. You girls are cracking me up.

Me again!!! I should have mulit-quoted but I am forgetful. Just wanted to say good luck with the studying and soon you will be done. I am sure it's a whirlwind right now. I have done nothing but study (and stalk the DISboards of course) for months now...my last day of my course is Friday the 16th and I cannot wait. Hang in there, it will be over before you know it (that's what I telll myself anyway)

I'm going to jump in on the Tudors, and agree with Henry Cavill. I heard the joke amongst the cast was that John was 'just like king Henry,' i.e. a complete jerk. Realistically, I'd just want the dresses and jewelry.

Wowzers, he is def interchangable with JRM lol... They are both rather nice to look at. I have also heard that John is a total turd and pretty awful to women...unfortunately my eyes like what they see. I am a terrible bride, talking about other men. My DF is a doll.

It wouldn't surprise me that John is a jerk. I know he's had lots of public outbursts and rehab stints.. he is a great Henry though!! And, I agree- I'd KILL for the gowns!

*Being a zoo person I can honestly say that Your e-pics where AMAZING!!! I loved them. Hey, I'll have to go find the coloring books-- I have 2 little ones coming to the wedding; they'd love that!

I love love love peonies! Sadly, I learned they won't be in season for our wedding so I'm settling for roses. They're so classic though, I'm happy!

The zoo is an awesome venue- I recommend it to local girls all the time! So fun! But you're right-- you can't compete with Disney.

And, finally, YAY for teachers! We're pretty much neighbors (well, kinda..!) since you're in Miami and I'm in Boynton!

Happy Friday!

I don't have a huge update today but I do have a silly holiday video I made for you all!

Just an FYI-- I didn't realize my camera started recording so be prepared for being acting silly!

A little backstory: in December my friends and I that don't get to see each other regularly (because of the distance) make videos for each other to say hi, update each other on life, and say "Merry Christmas!"-- it's basically just our way of sending a more fun Christmas cards.

I thought it would be fun to make one for all of you! It's basically just a video of me rambling, saying "and" a lot, and laughing. BUT, it's allll for you!

Our Colors​

I know I've talked about it before with my Swalphins but I don't think I ever made it "Planning Journal Official" so...

We decided to just vibe with the colors of the Swan and Dolphin and use coral and turquoise for our wedding colors! I managed to find color swatches that match up pretty well with the S/D!

My favorite color is coral and Max's favorite color is blue (not turquoise but it still counts..!) so it all works out nicely!

We'll do coral and white floral, turquoise attire for the bridal party, turquoise programs, etc.

Another thing to check off the list!

Our Quickie December Trip!​

My mom and I are going up on December 29th and 30th for a quick trip to see the Christmas decorations at the S/D and have a few meetings.

Here's our tentative plans!

Thursday, the 29th:
-Get to Disney by 10am.
-Check in
-Head over to the S/D to take pictures of the Christmas decorations that will be up for the wedding!
-1: meeting with Diana from Just Marry! She said we would do a walk-thru and then talk about the details of the day. I'm so excited to meet her!
-3: meeting with the Garden Grove! We made our reservation with them this week! We're going to talk to them about the parking fee, beverage package, seating, etc.
-Drive to the DTD hotels, see them, and figure out which ones we want to recommend to people!

After that... We aren't going to the parks but we'd love any other ideas! We have no plans for the following day except to finish up anything we didn't get done. So, please, send suggestions our way!!

"Pip pip cheerio" to the Tudors/British comment lol...I hope that does not come across as offensive to anyone, but I don't really know what else the folks on the other side of the pond say differently. I don't think they even say that. I just wish my accent was that cool...I just say ya'll with my country accent. Anyway, sidetracked... Love the video, love the new color idea to match with the Swan and Dolphin. That will flow very nicely. Also, I am super jelous that you will be in Disney so soon but also very happy for you. Let us know how it goes and what you find out. And thanks for our video Christmas card!

Here are some suggestions for you:

If you have time go play a round of mini golf at fantasia gardens or the other mini golf course.

Go look at the boardwalk, beach and yacht club to see all the christmas decorations I hear they are pretty awesome. (I will get to see here shortly my christmas vacation disney trip is fast approaching)

Go to the monorail resorts and check out the christmas decor

ride the characters in flight hot air balloon (I have never done this and want to)

if I think of more I will let you know! I am so excited for your meeting I will text you and let you know how mine goes. and faith i am getting you a christmas present so just deal with it! you can't stop me!

Aww, you are so cute! What a great idea to do a video message for friends/family members. Have fun in Disney! Definitely go check out the GF with their massive gingerbread houses. We went about 5 years ago and it was really amazing to see. They have a lifesize gingerbread house right in the lobby that they seel gingerbread from. They also had some performers playing holiday music with bells that was nice to watch. Have dinner at Il Mulino! It is an amazing place to just go and have a drink and relax. I also hear that you can get a gift card for them on restaurant.com for half price usually!

Hi Faith! Your video was so cute and sweet (I also watched your Spaceship Earth video - made me miss Disney so much!)! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season as well and I hear ya about all the stamps. We just used 60+ on thank you cards and Christmas cards! I know you will have a fabulous time visiting the Swan and meeting Diana. Karen is so deserving of any promotion, but I know many present and future Swan brides (and I guess other brides with weddings elsewhere ) will miss her!

As for what to do besides your planning stuff - I personally have not spent a lot of time in DTD because usually I'm never willing to leave the parks rotfl, but on our most recent trip we spent some time looking in the shops (the Christmas shop especially!) and I really enjoyed it! And definitely check out the Christmas decor at as many resorts as possible!!! We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our Disneymoon and got some wonderful photopass pics taken in front of the beautiful tree in the lobby.
