Booked today 6/9 - Family of 5 - me,dh and 3dds - 7, 2 & 4mos. We booked the Yacht Club Concierge GV - 08/17-24/03 for $2891. We were thrilled. Now I need to find a great rate for airfare from the Chicago area.

How are you all finding availability? Anyone not get what they wanted for the dates the first chose?

I know when I looked up my dates on WDW to see how much it would cost to upgrade, there was nothing in the moderates for our dates! Just wanted to let you know.

We originally wanted the Beach Club Concierge but there were no longer rooms available so we had to "settle" for the Yacht Club. I noticed when I checked the Disney online reservations, there were Beach Club Concierge rooms available for the regular rates. So I guess when the certain number they set aside for the FTP sell out they are not releasing anymore.

Can you give me an idea of the dates you were trying to book please? I was looking at mid/end Sept-beginning of October. What the weather and crowd like around these times?

Booked today!! I had a room only but decided to take advantage of the FTP. 9/28-10/05 (7 nights) at POR for 2A 3C standard room/trundle. Total price w/o insurance 1917.12. My price w/ AAA discount room and 5 day hoppers plusses would have been 2076.00.

I'd go direct to WDW travel or CRO. We had the same trouble with DU that you are experiencing. If you want to go to WDW with the FTV package, I would encourage you to get on the phone to them asap because they are selling out fast.

If you are an AAA member try going through them, we had no problems with our TA there.

We also used AAA vacations our last trip. Although they were good, I will book myself from now on.
