Fairytale Packages

When: 7/28 to Aug. 4
Who: Myself (mom 40)
Twins (son and daughter 15)
Booked through Expedia, 7 nights in a Ft. Wilderness Cabin, with airfare from Philadelphia and one day passes to Universal: $2500.
I compared with regular prices and we are saving $2900.

Great deal!
Kids love Ft. Wilderness, it's quiet, we all get our own bed and the kitchen is a great saver.

Plutolovr:p :p

2 Adults and 14 yr old DD
July 7 through July 14
YC - Standard view (might upgrade once we're there if available)
$2100

We're driving there.

I had the same problem with my hubby. He didn't want to go back to WDW so soon. We were at WDW last July so we weren't planning on going back until at least next year but when I saw the ads for the FTP, I told him about it. I made him sit and watch one then that peaked his interest and he asked me to check on prices. After checking on prices, I convinced him it was a good deal and we should take advantage of it. He finally agreed and I even let him pick the hotel. ;)

FTP is the way to go.
Our trip:
2 adults
AKL with savannah view room
July 29th thru Aug 5th
Total is 1700.00 :smooth: :bounce:

Fairytale Package
Myself, Dh, DS 12 and DD 14
Poly Concierge(wow!)
7/27-8/3(7 nites)
$2841

This is going to be so special......

We are going Sept 13-27
2 adults/2 kids 8 & 13
Wilderness Lodge - standard rooms
$1,936

We were originally going to stay at All Star Movies with a 5 Day Hopper Plus Pass - $1,602

That's a difference of $334 to upgrade 2 levels and get a better pass!

How are you finding availability? Good or are some getting sold out already?

I was told by my TA late last week that the Poly was sold out (I wanted to check on rates for LV/Concierge) for my dates (10/19-10/26). Could not find anything for friends for those same dates (even on Expedia or through WDW directly). Only thing available were some of the All Star, and Wilderness Cabins.

Hope this does not mean my planned timing for relatively small crowds was in vain!

Burleygirl-I was just on the disney site and also tried to book any deluxe for similar dates-no luck!! I hope DH changes his mind soon or we won't be getting a room anywhere. It looks like their plan is working and they will get the crowds that they are looking for.

FTP-ASMu preferred view 10/21~10/30 9 nights 2 Adults w/UPH passes $1390.51 (after DC $50 discount)

FTP-Poly GV Concierge (SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!) 10/30~11/6 7 nights 2 Adults w/UPH passes $2483.95 (after DC $50 discount)

I still cannot believe that I will be staying in the concierge level. I am so excited because this is a surprise birthday gift for my Mom.

Mom Rules: I hope this thread is able to convince DH that the price is right to head back to WDW now.

Who: Myself, DH, DS (who will be 4) and DB

Including Air from Phila: $3,542!!!!!!!!

I can't wait!!!!

August 2nd-9th
All Stars Music Resort
Myself and 14 year old son

I think that is a fantastic rate. I just booked it a week ago through Dreams Unlimited. I originally tried for a Moderate Resort but they were all booked for my dates. But I think we will enjoy the All Stars Music Resort.

Tried to get quote on Poly Oct 12-20 - Sold out.

First trip to Poly!

Me, Dh, & 3 Child rate (ages 8,5,4)
9/23-9/30 for $2541

Haven't seen many families of 5 booking- curious to see how the rates vary by resort.

Way exciting as we were not supposed to go back to WDW until 5/2005!! Thank goodness for the Fairytale Package! I convinced my DH that we couldn't afford not to go... he went for it as I told him what the price would be when the package was 7 nights! Too bad my brother convinced me that we had to go for 9 nights cause now it's lot$$$$ more $$$$!!!

Oh well, you only live once, right?

P.S. We made our ressies Sat/Sun (this past weekend). By the time I made the ressies for my parents on the webiste (my brother was making his via internet at the same time while I was on the phone with him). I went back to make one for my own family and they were all sold out!!! Thank goodness I had a travel agent holding the identical reservation for me from the day before! I quickly sent in a deposit and breathed a huge sigh of relief! I need a vacation after all that stress alone!

Tracy

We booked fairly soon, 2 days was all I could stand. We were *just* there in April for goodness sakes. I told DH that our trip was "too hurried" and we'd like to enjoy it this time. He's only coming down to visit some of the week, can't get off all week again. So it will be"

My mom, Me, DD 7 and DS 9 (also mentioned he won't get in as cheap if we wait till his birthday in the fall);)

July 28 - Aug 3
7 nights/UPH for all

ASMo Hopefully dalmations:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Wilderness Lodge 2 Adults/ 2 Children Courtyard View

Jennifer

Okay! We now have DH at least considering it (since we won't be taking a summer vacation this year, prices are unbelievable, an opportunity not to be missed, by that time we will need a break, work isn't that busy in the fall anyway, maybe the last vacation the kids will take with us, exchange rates are good right now-need a little warmth/sunshine since it's been do cold and wet, everyone will be in a better mood if we have something to look forward to-HELP ME OUT PLEASE-have I forgotten anything?)

He wants to wait to see what happens at work until later in June-I'm afraid we won't be able to get anything.

To: mom_rules...

With a deal like this would it be possible for you to reserve yourself a package, pay the deposit and then cancel if you couldn't convince your husband?

I saw the number of the Fairytale package rooms dwindle right berore my very eyes while booking on the computer! They were being snatched up so fast it was scary!

Good luck!
Tracy

Thought of that but didn't want to take a chance. What are the cancellation policies for the FTP? What is the deposit amount required?
