Fairy Character Breakfast at Park Fare?

Has anyone heard about this? On the Theme Parks and Attractions board, under the Tinkerbell Ears thread, a poster mentioned hearing on Mouse Tunes podcast about a fairy breakfast at 1900 Park Fare with Flaua, Fauna, Merriweather, the Blue Fairy, and Tinkerbell! Coming sometime in 2006! Just wondering if anyone else has heard rumors of this?

I would definately make am ADR if this actually happens. It would be nice if this would happen before our next trip in April.

As much as this sounds lovely, I hope it doesn't happen by our trip on the March Break (12th to 19th) as my oldest dd will be turning 5 on the 14th and her request was to have breakfast with Mary Poppins. So we have booked it for this day and if that was to change it would break her heart!!! Hopefully it happens after this!!

Hmm...I haven't heard of this yet, and I work in entertainment at WDW, but I do hope it's true. Most of those are characters who've only previously appeared in parades! (And the Sleeping Beauty fairies are close friends of mine so I'd possible be involved in this... )

I'm loving the new Disney fairy line! I've already read the book and my boyfriend bought me a doll of one of the new characters.

On a side note, Is Disney planning on bringing any of the characters from the book into the parks Angiebelle?

Forgive me but Tink's size is a problem. As a live character won't that run the "show".

I've heard the rumors as well. I am sure that Tink's size can't be that much of a problem. I mean, Timon is small in the cartoon but full size in the parks, right?

I haven't heard anything about the new fairy characters coming to the parks, but I imagine they just might if they become popular enough. I would love for that to happen- I always become excited when they bring in new characters!

I heard about it and I immediately made an AR for 1900 for April 27th - just in case! My dd was flipping out when she saw Tink in the parade at DL during the broadcast of the Christmas Parade. I love the current breakfast, but Tink at a character meal! That's a great concept!

P.S. In the non-Disney movie "Hook", Tink is played by Julia Roberts and there is a scene where she wishes to be big so she can kiss Peter. This would be a good answer for kids if they ask why Tink is so big - if we ever get to meet her in person that is!

That would be nice, as my DS is NUTS about both Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan, but... I hope they will not do away with Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins... Park Fare is our favorite character meal, primarily because we LOVE Alice and Mary!!

I will be keeping my eyes and ears on alert! I'm hoping that the rumors are true. My youngest will LOVE IT! She is a huge Tink fan, and was disappointed when we were there in 2004, and Tink didn't fly in Wishes.

I just made my Ressie's (2 )as DD is a hugh Tink fan (only ADRs' for our entire june trip )

I heard this it was from an imagineer talking about going ons with the parks and he brought this up.It was a time frame of Feb/march he thought but it was going to happen .

And yes for those who don't want the change it was mentioned just replacing Mary so not sure of the others.

I don't have the episode but it was oct /nov and I just deleted it from my phone to make room for new ones.

As for Tink live I don't think it's a problem for those who love Tink and want a pic and auto.At DL in the parade she looked great (maybe better wig but).

Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg by Gail Carson Levine.
I have it but haven't read it yet.

I was talking to a Handler at MGM over Xmas and he said that Fairies were going to be arriving soon for meet and greets but he wasn't sure when. I hope it is true, 2 out of 3 isn't bad Boys meal and Fairies, but I'm still not giving up on Villians yet.

They have them at the Disney Store - they had the first one when i was there around the 1st.
