Fairmont Hotel in Newport. Special Price.

I know alot of folks want to include a day or two at the beach on their DLR visits. I found this on Travel Zoo & it seemed like a pretty good deal. $139 per night.

I know nothing about the hotel, but maybe someone who does will post.

Looked like a place Mrs. Hound would want to check into after chasing DS 9 & me around DLR for 3 days.

EDIT - I JUST READ THE BOTTOM. IT SAYS 5 MILES FROM THE BEACH & 1 MILE FROM JOHN WAYNE.....IS THAT IN NEWPORT???

I'LL DELETE IF SOMEONE POSTS AND ADVISES THAT IT'S NOT A DEAL.

The Fairmont Newport Beach is a really nice hotel. It's about a mile from John Wayne/Orange County airport.

Thanks Calvary Mike....I didn't realize Newport Beach's city limits extended so far from the beach.....when i stumbled across this, i was thinking (hoping) it was down near the Pier etc.
