FairFx Card Questions

Hiya

We've always used our credit card when at DLP but have found that we have lost out a lot on the foreign transaction fee our card adds to a purchase.

So this year we are considering getting FairFx card and loading one with out spends and the other with our food and money for our AP's; making budgeting much easier.

Upon reading the terms and conditions I noticed that they only charge you £1for withdrawing cash from a cash machine; which seems a brilliant way of not having to carry too much cash on me whilst at DLP. My question is do the cash machines translate into English as I've never used a cash machine outside of the UK??

Also which is the best way of topping up your FairFx if needed. We were thinking of taking our tablet and topping up via the internet but a bit worried we won't pick up a good internet connection via this method??

Also for those of you who've used a FairFx card in Disney any tips or guidance would be gratefully received.

I think you have the option of English language in the ATMs my friend managed to use them without any issues.

I have a fairfx card. Used it for my trip last June. Was accepted everywhere with no issues. Never used an ATM with it so can't comment on that. I downloaded their iPhone App which is great for keeping an eye on your balance. I had a pretty good exchange rate with them as well and if you loaded the card with £500 you had an extra £5 free added on your balance. Every little helps!

Forgot to mention that you can add funds to your card using the iPhone app. Easy peezey lemon queezey!
