Anyone know if this place is ok? How's the walk? Breakfast?

We stayed there and the walk was fine but there was no inc. breakfast. We wouldn't stay there again personally because while we were there between two rooms we experienced a broken toliet, a broken A/C unit and a broken door, first wouldn't lock then wouldn't unlock. They actually want us to go through the window to get in and out of the room at one point.

We stayed at the Fairfield in 2002. Breakfast was not included. We found the room to be alright and the kids enjoyed the pool a couple of times. We walked everyday with no problem. Our room was on the north side of the building and we could see the fireworks from our room.

One thing to remember - when we stayed there they had bottles of water in the room and frig. If you drank these bottles they charged it to your room. It was cheaper to go to the mini mart and get water.

McDonald's is located in front of the hotel and at the time included room service. This was great because they always seemed busy. We ordered room service for breakfast a couple of times.

I stayed there a few years ago and the beds were horribly soft. The walk to the park wasn't bad, but I wouldn't stay there again because I couldn't sleep.

From what I have read on Tripadvisor they have recently (meaning in the past 6 months) replaced all their matresses.

We will be staying there in 10 DAYS!!!!!! I will hopefully get a trip report written up an will let people know how I think it went.

Have a great trip and I look forward to hearing how the Inn was for your accomodations!

We will be staying at the Fairfield for 2 nights at the end of August and I am interested in what you think also. Have fun!

I'm anxious to hear what you have to say since we have reservations there in just 4 1/2 weeks. Our neighbors across the street stayed there in December and liked it, and the reviews on yahoo were very good. I made the reservations before I found this board, but decided to keep them anyway.

We will be staying here also for 3 nights rights after our cruise. Please post your review. Thanks.
