I love the reviews at this motel, and the fact it is doing the 5 for 3 offer. my question is I have been wondering where in the building to stay and put in a request. where is the pool? we were thinking by the pool would be great, but hows the first floor by the pool for noise ? and if not the pool, how about the top floor in the front of the building for fire works? will I be able to get my scooter at the top floor with out any hassles? It looks like a very large hotel, and I do not want to be stuck on the highway side.
where would you stay in this hotel and why? thanks :flower3:

i like the top floors. facing space mountain. you get a great view and no noise. the ones that face the HOJO are great too but u only see like the matterhorn.

there are like 4 princess rooms in the hotel so u can ask about that.

ohhhhh tell me more about the princess rooms!!

Have stayed there several times. Got a 2nd floor room by the pool one time and it was a tad bit noisy, especially when we came back in the afternoon for a nap. We have had rooms facing the street and DL. Those are nice especially if you want to see the fireworks. They have 3 elevators so getting around with your scooter should be a snap. Last time, we didn't ask for a specific room location and got one on the north side with no view. The room was fine, but no view. HTH

this room has two queen beds, plus 1 small sofa bed thing, and another section next to the bathroom where I found this lol

it is awesome make sure to request it at the front desk!

I called they said no. but because of medical meds that have to be refrigerated we get one. thank goodness!! And The lady at the desk was so sweet, she also put down a top floor disneyland view :) Im thrilled!!!!!!

awesome!

i think i remember requestiing a fridge but not for medical reasons tho, just to put some milk in.

Interesting! I checked the Fairfield - Anaheim's website and saw that the rooms have a mini-fridge. The main site doesn't mention it but if you select a date and choose a room, it's stated in the room details page. I saw a mini-fridge listed in the details for the 1 King + sofabed, 2 Queen + sofabed and the park view rooms (1 King and 2 Queen, etc).

When we stayed there in December, we had a 1 King non-view room that had a mini-fridge. It was enough to hold a some bottled waters and 1-2 leftover boxes. :)

I have stayed there several times and have been happy. The do have mini-fridges but request not to be too close to the elevator!!! Once our room was only a couple down from the elevator and we could hear every time it went up or down. It was awful! Otherwise, no problems. We like an upper floor room facing the park.

hummmm wonder why there site does not say fridges, and the lady at the desk said that she would put one in our room for medical purposes? Any ways Im glad Im going to have one. now I have to just remember to order the water and drinks, and snacks !

let us know when you go. If they stop having fridges then I stop staying there!

I know there are several restaurants near this hotel, how about some type of convenience store to get juice and milk to put in the mini-fridge?

I'm not sure about one real close but they do have a snack bar, on the 3rd floor I think? Where you can pick up milk, juice, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc. at inflated prices.

Hi all..Now I have a question..I am booked into Fairfield for May 16-20...I stayed there last year...I was asked up front (this time) if I wanted a reg room or facing park..but..they were going to charge me about 25 a night extra for park view..I opted against it because I figured we could use the extra $ at the park..Last time we stayed we were on ground floor by the gift shop a bit away from the pool..and..even though view was not wonderful..it was nice and quiet..Do they always charge exta for better rooms? At this late date..can I still call for an upgrade..TIA...
