They are similar in price for me, but I've never stayed at either I don't know which to choose!
It will be just me going to the park and staying at the hotel. I would like to walk to and from the park, and feel safe while doing so.

Suggestions?

I have stayed at the Fairfield three times with DW Nd DS (4, 6 & 10 at time of trips). Nice rooms and beds. Friendly staff. Easy walk.

Both are safe, easy walks. I've stayed at the Fairfield and liked it. Never stayed at the Ramada. The Fairfield is usually a little more expensive than the others right there, it seems like, so I'd probably pick that.

I have stayed at both and would have not problem staying at both again.

Here are the major differences (imho):

Fairfield is farther, you have to pay for parking, no free breakfast....but, The beds are slightly more comfy and linens are nicer.

Ramada is closer, free breakfast, nicer pool, free parking...beds not as comfy (but not uncomfortable by any means), and has a more motel feel.

If they were the same price, I would stay at Ramada, purely on the fact that the parking is free, it is a closer walk and there is a free breakfast.

But, really both are nice places to stay.

Have a great trip.

Thank you for all the helpful advice! I ended up with Fairfield since I went to compare one more time and Ramada was booked!

My husband and I are at the Fairfield Inn right now :)
We are quite happy with the room. We have a Toy Story themed room and the bed is indeed very comfortable! Nice linens, small fridge in room, good air conditioning (it's been hot outside)! Friendly staff, easy 5 minute walk to the parks, safe. The exterior corridors are drab and motel-ish and the free wi-fi is spotty in our room but those are really the only negatives for us. Hubby is gluten free so we don't eat those free hotel breakfast buffets so we don't miss that. ( there is an excellent Whole Foods Market not far from here, stop on the way and pick up stuff for the room). We would definately stay again :)
