I just got finished watching the Texans lose to the Colts 23-3. This was not totally unexpected, as we don't expect much out of our new expansion team the first year or two.

What really chapped me was that with about five minutes left in the game (garbage time), the camera showed a shot of one side of Reliant Stadium and more than half the seats were empty!!! I cannot understand fans that don't support thier team until the final whistle (or final out, if we are talking baseball). I will not accept traffic as an excuse because these same people would have still been there if the score was reversed.

I am proud to say I have never left any game early, no matter how far my team was behind.

I agree! I think a fan should be loyal to their team, if they are indeed a real fan!!!

I'm not into sports much, but I do watch football and baseball with DH and DSs a lot. We try to teach DSs that there's nothing wrong with being a fan of a team even when they lose.

Currently, DH and DS14 are happy, their Patriots have been doing very well. :teeth: We just watched them win game 3 of the season :)
