I'm taking a flea market at the annual steam show in our area and have a lot of both wooden and die-cast thomas trains I'd like to sell. Normally I do ebay and concentrate on amer girl so I have no idea of what things sell for at flea markets anymore. I know what the AG is worth, both on ebay and craigslist, b/c that's my area of expertise. I don't expect to get ebay prices but I'd rather not give things away either and I haven't a clue how to price boy stuff anymore.

Can someone suggest a fair price for Thomas trains and track? What about the roundhouse or other buildings? I am caught between selling as a lot and as individual pieces. TIA

I think if they are in good condition, they should hold their value pretty well. I wouldn't sell them for less than 50% of retail. If they are the older ERTL diecast, they don't make those anymore...and they were nice.

Research them WELL on ebay before selling any of them. Some of the retired ones are worth big bucks. The names should be on the bottom of most of them.

DS3 is quickly becoming a Thomas fanatic. We have the wooden train table and he loves his "twains". I have bought him several lots on ebay pretty cheap but I have seen some go pretty high. Shipping is easy with Flat Rate boxes.

Honestly I would ebay it all or Craigslist it.

If we still lived in MD I would come take a look at what you have to sell but I doubt you want to meet halfway now that we are in GA!

Good luck!
