I recently discovered two Facebook pages where people can buy, sell and trade things with people in their area. One is also for listing garage sales. There have been some great things for sale and you don't have to pay shipping charges. Just sold a whole bunch of Stampin' Up stuff that has been in my closet for five years for $40. Probably worth a lot more than that, but I wasn't using it, so it is better to let someone who is going to use it, buy it. Came out to about the same price as I would have got on Ebay and it is a guaranteed sale. If you are on Facebook, you might want to research to see if someone in your area has one set up. If not, you can do it yourself. As I said, the two in our area are very successful!:):)

we have them in our area too, they are listed as yard sale pages.

we have them in our area as well..we just bought some halloween stuff for our haunted house this way..also no fees like ebay, ebay has gotten way out of hand with the seller fees etc..

Our area just started one too, it's only been around a few weeks but has several hundred people already. There is a lot of crap but I just got a new stainless steel stove for $250 and a bunch of fisher price stuff. I have seen lots of fridges, furniture and even a cricut.
