Just booked a quick (one night ) trip the first weekend of F&W and while setting my plans it shows the hours for the festival from 9am to 10pm. This didn't show on the main page, only on the details page for the specific day. Can this be real?
That would be awesome since its only a one day trip.
I also noticed it shows FP+ for Eat to the Beat concerts which I don't recall having the ability to FP before, though its been a couple of years since we were there during F&W

I hope so! I think they're opening some of the World Showcase now to accommodate the crowds for Soarin and Frozen.

They did FP+ last year for the first time. I know for Hanson, Boys II Men, David Cook and some others they were sold out the day they were released

Could the 9AM start time refer to seminars/events in the festival showplace, not the actual booths?

Could it be that this refers to the hours of the festival center?

See my food and wine preview link below. Scans of the handout and it shoss 9am for eat around the world.

It would be nice if they started opening earlier. I am sure if they were to open early, people will be there to give them their money.

I believe the reason they don't is because of the alcohol. Every booth sells it.
Not sure why that would prevent them from opening. There aren't any laws in FL that keep them from selling alcohol before a certain time.

Possible-we already have part of France and all of Mexico and Norway opening at 9:00AM.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I will be keeping my fingers crossed they really will open the booths early.
