F&W or other plan?

Planned to do our second Ep day with kids during the day then they head to Sandcastle club and DH and I return for F&W. However learning that Saturdays get packed at F&W, I am unsure- should plan something else? (Oct 11 if that matters. )

Another park and not bother with Sandcastle club? (we have MNSSHP and another full day at MK as well as DHS and US/IOA planned.)
Its our last night. WWYD?

Not only is that a Saturday, it's Columbus Day weekend. It will be slammed.

I'm not sure what else to do. If there's no Halloween party MK will be slammed too.

Thanks. Were doing MK another day and mnsshp on Thursday. Was hoping for something different then just a park night since it's just a few hours with kids club. I'll keep looking at options. Was really looking forward to it.

Frankly, you couldn't pay me enought to go to F&W on a weekend night. But on a LONG weekend night??

If MK has a party that night, then DHS would be the only other park open. Or you could do a signature dinner and take in the Boardwalk. Or you could take the whole family to a dinner show. Have you been to Hoop de Doo Revue?

Thanks, Ill look into it. Hoop De Doo isnt something we have ever considered. I know little about it but I will check it out.

We made the mistake of going to F&W last year on the Saturday night of Columbus Day Weekend. We won't be doing that again! The crowds were out of control! During the day wasn't bad, but at night, we were basically shuffling around World Showcase.

Thanks, I guess we will have to ditch the idea. SO sad.
A dinner would be ok. I would like Cali grill but its too late to get a decent time ADR. the Luau is an option but we would take kids.

I actually don't mind the weekend F&W crowds because I find I can sample more and enjoy it better if I have to wait a little bit of time between booths. It works for me....

I had a fabulous Saturday night. Busy yes, but great! You don't want to miss F&W festival! If you need to rearrange your schedule, do your best to fit it in even if it's not Saturday! Disney usually does a good job of exchanging your MNSSHP for a different date if you have already purchased your tickets and would rather go another day (do it before the day you are supposed to attend!). I love the live music of F&W and you have a great line up while you are there:

We plan on being at Epcot on Oct. 11 also. Future World at RD. Hoping to get to World Showcase at 11 and see the countries before it gets too crazy with Food and Wine. Then go back to Future World in the evening.

This is our second day at F&W but it was to be adults only for couple of hours. We have Monday prior all day at Epcot
