Hi Faye! Holy cow, you have had a lot of updates. How did I miss those?

First let me say sorry you didn't like the floral design or the table cloth. I am with you on the table cloth, yuck. But actually I think the flowers are pretty, although as you said, VERY hot pink.

I hear you about FOOD. Ugggg, all I do is want to nibble all day. Nibble nibble nibble. It's so hard to lose weight and get toned when you love food so much. If someone asks me to go out to dinnner I'm like yeah let's go! And if I see anything sweet I am eating it. It stands no chance of survival around me. My best advice is to exercise, walk as much as you can, and remember the wedding when you see the cake in front of you.

Your dad's speech about the "tiers" has me rolling on the floor laughing...that is going to be hilarious if he actually says that.

Well, sorry for not being more up to date but I will try to be around more.

I am pleased to tell you that after our long distance Skype call tonight Botanica got the flowers PERFECT! The table cloth.... perfect! The candles... the chairs! Everything is beautiful! AND... df likes them too! believe it or not he actually had an opinion on the 1st set so I figured he would defo have one on the 2nd! and he loved them too! YAY!

So, the next BEAUTIFUL photo will be of our table setting!

Hi Guys and Girls...

As promised a photographs of our beautiful flowers... I LOVE THEM!

The only thing that s different is the Chairs... We like the look of them but they don't look very comfortable - So... we have decided to go with the lake Nona Chairs. Pictured at a wedding my MIL was at the other week.

What do you think? I think its more important for them to be comfortable than not... BUT... do you think they will look okay? Be honest! :surf web:

AND... ITS OFFICIALLY 7 DAYS TO GO!!! This time next week we will be in the air!!!! The Best men are round at the moment getting excited and watching the football! or soccer depending on which side of the pond your from! and I'm sat here trying not to think about food!

This is what our spare bedroom currently looks like! haha Im planning on putting some in the case tomorrow...

I love packing because it gets us all excited... but DF loves packing the night before! this stresses me somewhat! incase we forget stuff! hehe

Hi Guys...

I cant believe that in 1 more sleep we will be jetting off for ORLANDO baby!

We are all packed!
The kitty is ready for his holiday at the cattery!

... AND I have had all my pre wedding/flight beauty treatments today! So am uber relaxed! :surf web: Greg has only just finished work this afternoon, so he went to get his wedding hair cut and one for the best mens suits! hehe EXCTING!

We have brought champagne for in the morning on the way to the Airport! and little plastic jubilee glasses! (the only ones I could find) lol

I went round to mum and dads to say bye to them, and got a tad over emotional when saying bye to nan and grandad! as they are not coming... I know they cant come and even if it was a wedding in this country they would struggle with the whole day! So saying good bye was a little harder than expected and there was tears! lol

But on the day of the wedding I have arranged a bouquet of flowers... and a massive card with 'we got married today' on it! I thought this would be special for them! and we are going to face time them as we are getting ready! They will love this... as they have been taught by my mum on how to answer FaceTime calls from the iPad! bless!!!

anyway... I will be face booking while were away! So I hope some of you will be following along!

Can you believe it... were back in really rainy England as a MARRIED couple! lol You know what, we had the most amazing day, everything was perfect! There are a few minor blips mainly with the woman who had a issue with the menu choices... But I will tell the whole story from beginning to end! I hope to keep you all interested with photos and little anecdotes from through out our best day ever!

Lets begin with the wedding rehearsal...
We all met at Gregs mum and dads house; my mum ,dad, sister (BM), her friend Lucy, my Best friend Laura, and my auntie. So we had a few drinks and took a few photographs of each other before we made our way to the venue - Which is actually on the same sight as Gregs mum n dads house. About 45mins before we were due to leave the house, Cherie - the club house co ordinator (If thats what you can call her) emailed me and asked me to provide a list of guests in alphabetical order to put on the security gate to make sure the correct people get in!!!! WAS SHE HAVING A LAUGH!!!! Surely she already had all this information in the lists and list I had sent her of menu choices...table settings!? Well I was not amused! But quickly copied and pasted a list together - Not in alphabetical order I admit! (AND she had the cheek to say 'don't worry I will have to find time to do it alphabetically) LOL Any minor blip!!!!

We left the house to go to the rehearsal and Lon (Officiant) was there ready to see us, Alison from Blush - The best planner in the whole world!!! She was worth her weight in gold! We were ready to rock... the nerves were okay at this point... the giggles... hmm... we had a few laughs during the pretend ceremony! :good vibes But everyone was happy the weather was good for the practice on the balcony, and we all learnt and listened to where we were supposed to stand and walk. My dad was a tad emotional ALL throughout the whole process to be honest but he managed to keep it together for the run through. Me n greg stood at the front I think finally realising was was going to happen in less than 24 hours... I was beginning to get nervous when we practiced doing our kiss - the I DO KISS! hehe

After the rehearsal we went to a local bar - THE NONA TAP ROOM - Perfect service and perfect food!

Here is a photo in the bar, My 2 beautiful Bridesmaids! Left Gregs sister and Right My sister. We decided to give all the gifts the night before, the boys badges and socks... Gregs gift and the girls gifts and cards. They loved them! and a lot of tears were shed! lol

Heres a pic of me and mum and the other end of the boys table... we were messing about having this photo taken... she was practicing for the professional photographs for the next day! the geek!

Greg and I exchanged gifts the day before the wedding too, he brought me a beautiful diamond necklace! Which was wrapped beautifully - This was a big surprise which he had managed to keep secret!!! yay! He loved the gifs I brought for him too... the socks and his cufflinks and the card from birmingham city! I also as a last minute purchase brought him some ido stickers for the bottom of his shoes! we were matching! teehee!

After the meal the boys and girls went their separate ways, at this point again the nerves were kicking in! I stayed at my mum and dads house that night with my friend and sister and everyone... it was a blast! On the way back in the car we were singing at the top of our lungs to WE ARE YOUNG - the one that the radio stations have been hammering! Well... cut a long story short, the moment over came us - I started crying, then Laura... and then ella! It was funny thoo! Totally emotional! But a moment I will remember and treasure for ever! hehe

THE NEXT POST... THE WEDDING DAY!

The Eve of the wedding my parents and I had quite a late night, drinking and trying on wedding shoes. In fact the my sisters best friend nearly fell in the pool whilst trying hers on! lol

In the morning i woke up feeling quite ready for the days events... not nervous... Just REALLY excited! And I couldn't wait to see greg! I had held off toting him all day! We face timed the night before the wedding and 1 txt! So not bad really! hehe

As soon as I woke up I went to see my mum and dad in bed and to give him his cuff links! He was so emotional when I gave them to him, he hid under the covers! Bless him!

So, me, my mum sister and Dad all travelled to Lake Nona to get ready in the guest lodge next to the club house! On the way in dad thought he saw greg, so not wanting to risk anything I dived under my seat - Or at least made a conscious effort to anyway! lol It turned out it wasn't him! and good job too!

We arrive at the lodge, room 1! At about 10am! hehe and Mandi the make up artist arrived with us! I cranked the Air conditioning up knowing it would be getting sweaty up in there! hehe Ella, dad and I opened champagne and lay on the beds watching mum have her make up done! I had also ordered room service... breakfast bagel with hash browns... because a bride cannot be hungry and drinking champers! haha Then it was Ella's turn - My sister! My other bridesmaid was joining us later on...

Dad at this point was walking round the club house looking for greg and his dad, so he could get some male company! bless he came back at about wish to get his suit on! He'd been on the golf course with all the groomsmen!

So, it was about 12:30ish by the time I was getting my hair and make up done! Now the butterflies were beginning to kick in! Mum at this point was so cold with all the air con was in one of the beds! haha AND FELL ASLEEP! lol

Now it was starting to get busy... dad had decided that him and I should go and sneak a look at the reception room... we did! I'm sure he thought he was 007, but it was beautiful! I saw Alison and the cake being set up! It was so so exciting watching all the people buzzing round!
But back we go to finish getting ready... when we get there the 2 photographers had arrived from NU Visions in Photography! Curt and Celieto! A cracking pair! They were clicking away as the room was getting more flustered and excited! hehe Then curt said, okay i THINK YOU SHOULD PUT THE DRESS ON NOW! Im ready!

It was hilarious trying to get it on though! We hadn't factored in hair and make up, and not wrecking it with all the tulle and dress! Mel Gregs sister, the other BM was here for this part, as she brought the dress in with the photographers!

It was very much a team effort! And going to the toilet thats another matter... but thank god there are no pictures for this one!

My dad was waiting outside while we got me in the dress, he wasn't amused as it was sooo hot out there! and like an ice box in our room! lol but when he cam in, the photographers were clicking away, it was such a special moment! His face was a picture - Mum was there to welcome him in and support him as he had a little emotional moment! He I have to say does not like these photos!

The came the photos with mum, dad and the 2 bridesmaids in our little room getting ready! We couldn't stop giggling! I think nerves were beinging to kick in now! hehe

Ellaat this point reminded me to get my jewellery on before any more photos!

I love these photos, while the girls were getting ready my greg was having 'Thinking' photos! hehe I think he was a bit nervous, more so than me!

His mum checking his button hole is done properly!

So... this was the moment that Lon our officiant came into the room! 3:15pm - we have 45mins to go! Lon said how beautiful we all looked and asked if we were ready, and he told us Alison would be back down to collect us at 3:55pm! hehe OMG... the girls my dad, mum! were all having a little scream! was an amazing feeling! (Aww we loved Lon so much)

My mum gets called away by the photographer to go and stand with the boys ready to walk down the isle with Darren one of the Ushers! She was nervous now too! But hiding it extremely well! Love you mum!

We were then collected by Alison to get the ball rolling - She actually said wow, everyone was sat down so quickly we are ready and on time! Do you want to keep him waiting a while or go now... we looked at each other and I said 'Nah, lets get this show on the road' I didn't want to keep him hanging I wanted to see him and become his wife!

Here we go, the next part is somewhat of a blur...

I just remember thinking all the way through how perfect it all was, Lons voice was almost magical. and looking into gregs eyes was really special - When we each got a bit over whelmed we would squeeze each others hands! and then giggle to each other! It really was amazing!

WERE MARRIED - WE DO - I DO - WE DID IT!

We went outside for family photos! BTW it was 90 degrees outside so we kept having breaks back inside! lol These are a few of the 558 photos that the photographer took... they were all pretty amazing and so hard to choose from!
